Apocalypse Cheater

Chapter 233: A Goal To Achieve

[: 3rd POV :]

The next day after Sasha was back to normal, she didn't have any memory of what happened the day before.

She didn't even remember activating the Ribbon of Fate.

'Did I actually defeat the Red Goblin?'

'But how was it possible?'

She was in a dilemma and she was assured that her power was no match against the monster.

Hence, the only explanation was that she had activated her ability.

'But why can't I remember?'

She was frustrated, and the answers were still unclear.

'I must have activated the ability somehow'

'But how does the ability work?'

'How was it activated?'

She didn't have the answers, and she could only speculate.

'It's useless to think about it all now'

Since there weren't any answers, Sasha decided to return to Modern Fantasia.

'I never thought hunting goblins could bring me so much money'

She never expected that the amount she had was enough to her dad's fees for at least a month, whereas previously, she would need to work the whole month.

After she had sold her gains, Sasha continued back hunting.

However, this time, she had more confidence than before.

'I won't give up so easily'

She wasn't afraid of the monsters and the experience she had gained from yesterday's battle had increased her fighting prowess.

With her newfound power, Sasha continued hunting and her level was increasing fast.

'I'll do better, I'll surpass the past' She promised.

Moreover, the battle between Sasha and the Red Goblin changed the course of her fate.

From that moment on, her fate had become unpredictable and the future was unknown.

Even so, as Sasha summoned her status, she never expected that she had levelled up 10 times, and she was now level 20.

Immediately, her jaw dropped to the ground and her eyes were wide open as she stared at her status.

"H-How is this possible?" She questioned, her voice carrying a sense of disbelief.

She was astonished and couldn't believe what was happening.

'Is this a dream?' She asked herself, but she knew it was real.

Her level was no longer 10 and had gone up 10 levels unknowingly.

'This can't be real' She repeated in her mind.

But as she recalled how the Red Goblin who was Level 30 had died, it convinced her even further that she was the cause of it.

'But how was it possible for me to do that?'

It was a question that had remained unanswered, and the answers were far beyond her reach.

Yet, the proof was right in front of her, and she had no choice but to accept it.

As she looked at her status, she couldn't help but smile.

'It seems I'm right after all' She smiled widely.

'It's definitely because of this skill' She thought as she gazed at her skill.

She was grateful for this blessing and she did not doubt that her ability was the reason behind her level up.

With a newfound motivation and her confidence surging high, Sasha believed that she could reach a level far beyond what she had expected to reach within a week.

She might even reach Level 50 or even higher and imagining such possibilities, she was fired up.

'Alright, let's do this!' She declared with a punching fist.

As Sasha appeared within the forests of the Goblin, she saw a group of 5 goblins not far away from her.

Although she was quite nervous, she no longer feared them.

Moreover, she wanted to find out more about her skills.

'I need to know just how powerful my skill is' She said.

The moment the group of goblins noticed her presence, they immediately chased her without any hesitation.

But without fear or any stutter, she activated her skill.

'Ribbon of Fate!'

Immediately, she can feel a chunk of her Mana being consumed.

'Ugh, is this what it feels to have your mana consumed? It feels a little bit weird' She commented.

But sooner and later, she discovered a surreal sight.

In front of her, thousands of red threads had manifested from the goblins, and it was connected to each one of the goblins.

'Wow...what's this?'

She was amazed at the sight and her heart was pounding hard.

'What should I do?' She asked, and soon enough, an idea had come into her mind.

'Let's just try and pull the strings'

She was curious and since her mana was sufficient, she wanted to experiment.

With a quick pull, the fate strings of one of the goblins had broken and the goblin who had its string broken, had its wrist broken, and the goblin screamed.

'Eh? I-Is that what it really does?'

Sasha couldn't believe it and was excited to see how many strings she could tear.

Without wasting any time, she pulled another string and this time, the goblin had lost an arm.

'Oh my gosh' She was astonished.

'This is insane'

She didn't stop, and as she kept pulling the fate strings, one by one, the goblins were slowly but surely being weakened.

Eventually, after Sasha had pulled most of the strings, all of the Goblins had died right before her.

'Isn't this ridiculously powerful...?'

Sasha questioned, at the same time, she was excited about her ability.

'Is this how it feels to have a cheat skill?'

'This is awesome'

She didn't waste any more time and continued hunting as much as she liked.

Eventually, for the next 5 hours, Sasha's level had easily increased from 20 to 30.

This was unimaginable and aside from Daniel or whoever was close to him, this was a speed that was unheard of.

'This is too easy'

She couldn't believe how her ability had given her a lot of benefits.

Moreover, her skill was ridiculously broken.

She even had read forums about how it was hard to level up if one didn't prepare enough or even have the skills to kill.

At the same time, her level had increased and her stats and Mana had increased as well.

In other words, the effects of her skill had increased significantly.

In the end, until the end of the day, Sasha had increased her level by another 5.

'This is enough for today and even my Mana had been emptied' Sasha thought.

Her skills were too powerful, but with the cost of her mana, her hunting speed had slowed down.

Moreover, she was tired and needed a rest.

'I'll go back and sleep' She decided.

And just like that, Sasha went back to her world and rested.

On the next day, as Sasha returned to Modern Fantasia, the first thing she did was to sell her drops.

'Since I have money to spare, I don't mind buying some Mana Potions'

Sasha thought as she bought 10 cheap Mana Bottles that could refill her Mana gauge by at least a half.

After Sasha had bought her potions, she continued hunting.

As she did, her level was quickly increasing, and as the day's hours had passed, Sasha had reached Level 40.

'Even though I'm glad that I'm levelling up, the speed has decreased' ' she said.

Although she knew that her speed of levelling up was abnormal, Sasha preferred if it could continue in that manner.

'I think it's time to increase the difficulty and I don't think Goblins would be effective in levelling up' Sasha said.

As she made her decision, she decided to visit an even more dangerous monster zone where monsters who were above Level 50 resided.

The location was at least 2 hours away from the Goblin forest and the place was called the Silent Forest.

'It's best to be careful and even I'm only Level 40' She said as she made her way to the Silent Forest.

Eventually, she finally arrived at the forest and as usual, she saw dozens of Players forming a party to hunt in the forest.

Sasha is not interested in such a party, and she finds it effective to hunt alone since all of the drops are hers.

As she began to walk around, she found an area with no players.

'This place looks good enough'

She thought as she walked further.

But before she could continue, a voice was heard from behind her.

"Hey, you!"

The sudden call had surprised her and she turned around.

"Yes?" She responded.

Just as she turned around, she saw a group of Players staring at her.

"Are you here to hunt by yourself?" The Player asked.

"Uhh, yes?" She responded.

"Then I guess we could join you," The player said.

"Uhhh..."

Sasha didn't know how to respond and she was a little bit hesitant to let them join her.

"You see, our party has a lot of people, and most of them are quite experienced," The Player said with a smile.

"We can protect you, and at the same time, we can help you levelling up," He said.

"You can't deny our offer, after all, I can see you're a newbie, right?" He asked.

Sasha didn't respond.

'Well, I don't mind having someone to join me' She thought.

At the same time, she didn't want to be overconfident of herself.

Just because she had levelled up pretty quickly doesn't mean she's the strongest.

After a few minutes, Sasha eventually agreed.
