Corruption in Naruto World

Chapter 63 – Blood

Chapter 63 – Blood

Inoichi’s idea was quite honestly terrifying.

I was introduced to Mr. B.
Unlike Mr.A who was simply subdued, Mr.B was someone nearly braindead, actually braindead isn’t a correct description.

His mind has been completely broken to the point he’s reduced to nothing more than an obedient flesh puppet following any simple orders he receives.

He had apparently ended that way after using a self-harm jutsu on himself to prevent his memories from falling into enemy hands, but besides destroying his memories several parts of his brain got injured as well.

After being instructed to tell us what he sees I spent several hours fiddling with his visual cortex located on the back of his brain.

I’d alternate between Mr.A and Mr.B, copying the impulses sent from A’s dreams into his visual cortex into B’s cortex and seeing what he describes.

The results… were underwhelming but it’s what one would expect from random dreams, not much and nothing that made much sense.

But the important part was the experience, identifying relevant impulses, sensitive and insensitive areas, and above all, simulating perfectly each brain wave’s signals with lightning transformation while avoiding damaging A or B.

It was exhaustive work requiring absolute concentration and chakra control.

At the end of the day, I relied on Anko for some stress relief.

Over the next couple of weeks, my training routine remained similar.

After leaving a shadow clone for instruction from Anko and a couple of clones practicing nature transformation I’d start Kenjutsu training with Yugao, but now with only a short 15 minutes dedicated to form practice as a way to detect and correct any bad habits I was developing during our combat.

This left way too much time for our combat training.
Right on the second day, I had to give it to Hidan, he was right about one thing,

Getting decapitated hurts like HELL.

The issue is getting the spine chopped off, it sends a whole bunch of nerves flaring and gives extreme phantom pains which fortunately I could at least tone down with my nerve control.

As for why I even bother training pain control when I can turn off my pain receptors, it’s in case I get pain inflicted through genjutsu or other chakra means.

I’m not going to lie, it does feel good to feel a bit of pain after having everything turned off for almost a month, during that time I would even turn off my sense of touch when I wasn’t touching the girls so I was quite sensory deprived.

As for talking without a head like Hidan did in the plot… not as simple as Hidan made it seem, it requires using chakra to move wind down my neck which is a bit wasteful but I got a kick out of Yugao when I just went ‘you killed me’ and she got scared for a solid second.

At first, Yugao was a bit hesitant, despite going straight for the kill on the first day her nature was kind but as we practiced the [Leaf Sword Style] Yugao started getting a bit too into our practice.

Even if my skills were only just barely allowing her to express her skills being able to cut without hesitation an actual person and seeing the blood flowing from each cut was shocking at first, but that shock gradually bounced to excitement.

Yugao had always had a knack and love for kenjutsu and it was when she was being taught by Hayate that the two fell in love.

This was where I found Yugao’s opening.
I subtly intensified her hormones and leaning into her bloodlust Yugao got more aggressive in our spars as I matched her intensity.

After several days of getting used to the flow of combat, and how our balance, position body, and weapon differences were interacting I was finally starting to see the direction my personal kenjutsu style was taking.

Absolute madness.

Willing to trade an arm for a hand and my neck for their heart.
My style focused completely on trading blows and relying on my regeneration and immortality to come out on top afterward.

If I can slightly cut their arm while getting stabbed through the heart, that’s fine, I’ll be good as a new moment later but their scratch likely won't.

Small cuts and gashes were utterly pointless against me, everything just heals right back so I was more than willing to suffer any number of them to deflect or tank enemy blows if it meant creating an opening for me to exploit.

It was this way that I managed after a week to get my first ‘victorious’ round against Yugao.

She nearly beheaded me once more as my katana touched her chest, above her heart.
It carried enough momentum we both knew she would have been pierced if my blade was sharpened.

During our fights, we would get lost in our world of red, the kind and hesitant Yugao was all but gone after 50 hours of intense bloody combat. In her place was a Yugao looking for any opportunity to swing her blade and draw blood once more.

Once we were done training, the ground we fought on would always be a mess which Yugao would clean with a simple earth jutsu.

As for our appearances…
After cutting through 3 sets of clothes in a single day I just gave up and started fighting with my upper body bare.

I don’t intent to keep the appearance outside of training but there is no point in wasting money on clothing needlessly.

As for Yugao she also had to get a few sets extra of her own, but rather than being due to cuts it was so she could alternate washing between them.

After every single one of our mornings, Yugao’s clothes would end up drenched in my blood, especially her torso and sleeves.

It was around this time.
Yugao’s smiling face while smeared in blood got imprinted in my heart.

I wasn't certain before but now I am, I want Yugao.
