Her Husband is My Lover

Valentina opened her eyes with the sunlight creeping through the curtains. 

She got up as she looked around.

"Huh? I was... In the patio?" Valentina asked herself.

"How was I am here?" Valentina asked herself and just then, her eyes falls down on the piece of paper that is on her bedside table. 

Valentina grabbed the note and looked at it and read whatever Xavier wrote in the paper.

A smile spreads on her face as she read the note. 

"He is so cute..." Valentina said with a smile as she looked into the note.

She grabbed her phone that is on the table and dailed Xavier and he answered it in 3 rings.

"Hello, Ms. Jackson... Mr. Avalanzo is busy... In a meeting... I will let him know as soon as he is done with the meeting." His PA said on the phone.

"Alright..." Valentina replied and ended the call and looked at the time. Her eyes widened as she looked at the time that says, 11 am.

"Oh my god... I am so late..." Valentina said as she saw many missed calls from Tania. She quickly dailed Tania and she answered the call in 2 rings.

"Ms. Jackson, are you alright?" Tania asked.

"Yes, Tania... I will be there in a few minutes." Valentina answered to her on the phone.

"Alright." Tania said on the phone and Valentina ended the call.

"How can I not check the time when I dialed Xavier? Argh!" Valentina said as she got up from the bed and walked inside the restroom. She directly got under the shower and quickly washed herself. As soon as she is done with the shower... She grabbed a towel and wrapped it around her. 

Valentina kept the moisturizer on her body and quickly dried her hair. She walke out of the restroom and to her walk in closet. 

Valentina grabbed a black leather pencil skirt and a black blouse. She wore it and just let the hair down on her shoulders as she doesn't have any time to do her hair... Without doing anything... She has got good wavy hair. So, it doesn't matter if she does anything to her hair or not... She quickly did her make up and grabbed a bag and walked out of the closet. She grabbed a few essential things and walked out of the her room. 

She walked downstairs and grabbed an apple and her car keys on the way and walked out of the House. 

As soon as she got inside the car. She got a call from Amelia. 

A smile spreads on Valentina's face as she saw her name. She quickly connected it to the car and answered the call.

"Hello. Good morning, Mom..." Valentina said as she started the engine.

"Good morning, Sweetheart." Amelia replied and Valentina pressed the engine and started driving. 

"Where are you, Honey?" Amelia asked.

"Ahh... I over slept, Mom... On the way to the company..." Valentina answered making Amelia chuckle.

"Alright... I will call you later then... Drive safe, love." Amelia said.

"Yes, Mom... See you later..." Valentina said.

"See you!" Amelia replied and ended the call. 

Valentina drives ti her company as much as fast as she can and soon reached her company.

"Ms. Jackson... You are so late..." Tania said as she took her bag from her.

"Yeah... I just overslept." Valentina replied making Tania shook her head.

"Sorry... I know we have a busy schedule today... I am really so sorry!" Valentina said making Tania look at her.

"What?" Valentina asked as they both walked inside the elevator.

"Nothing..." Tania answered making Valentina shook her head at her with a chuckle.

"So... I missed another meeting today. Huh?" Valentina asked and Tania nodded her head.

"Unfortunately, you did." Tania answered.

"I am sure... You handled it well... I will not bother about it... Just send me the report." Valentina said.

"Alright... I will do it!" Tania replied and Valentina nodded her head.

"Ms. Jackson..." Tania called.

"Yes?" Valentina asked.

"Umm..." Tania stuttered making Valentina raise her eyebrows at her.

"What?" Valentina asked.

"Umm... Ummm..." Tania stuttered.

"What happened, Tania?" Valentina asked.

"Umm... I had to post pone another meeting for you." Tania answered making Valentina raise her eyebrows at Tania.

"Why? Is there any problem?" Valentina asked and Tania shook her head in no.

"No." Tania answered.

"Then why did you postpone it?" Valentina asked making Tania gulp down her saliva.

"You will know when you go to your office, Ms. Jackson!" Tania answered making Valentina frown.

"What is there in my office?" Valentina asked making Tania took a deep breath and just then, the elevator doors got opened and They both walked out of the elevator.

"What is there in my office?" Valentina asked.

"Umm... Ms. Jackson... Please see yourself." Tania answered making Valentina frown but she sighed and walked towards her office. 

But stopped in midway and turned towards Tania. 

"Are you not coming with me?" Valentina asked.

"No. I don't think I should come there." Tania answered.

"What do you mean?" Valentina asked and Tania shook her head in no.

"Please go to your office, Ms. Jackson." Tania said making Valentina sigh and she shrugged her shoulders.

"Are you sure?" Valentina asked and Tania nodded her head.

"Yes, Ms. Jackson. Please go inside. You will find it out yourself. It would be good if I don't come inside the office." Tania answered making Valentina frown. 

"I don't at all get you sometimes, Tania." Valentina replied making Tania chuckle. 

"It's fine. Please go." Tania said and Valentina nodded and walked towards her office. 

Valentina opened her office door and her eyes widened in shock.

Tania turned around and walked towards her office with a heavy heart and took a deep breath.

"Oh my god." Valentina said in shock.

"Hello, Ms. Jackson." Jason said with a smile. 

"Jason." Valentina replied and Jason smiled brightly.

Valentina slowly walked inside and closed the door behind her back and walked towards him.

"Valentina..." Jason said with a smile making Valentina sigh. 

"You are not angry on me anymore, Jason?" Valentina asked.
