“She’s particularly sneaky, too. It was just a misunderstanding that I thought her gown was a knockoff, and I even apologized to her afterward. But she actually had the Lu Family’s couple suppress my family’s business.”
Lu Xue became more irritated as she thought about it, and her voice inadvertently got louder.
Once the classmates heard this, their impression of Qiao Yun changed drastically for the worse. She really liked to snitch that much?
Being classmates with someone like her, wouldn’t they suddenly get stabbed in the back, like her reporting to the teacher about them?

The car stopped outside the main gate of Shengyang High School.
The school entrance was bustling with people coming and going, and many eyes turned toward Qiao Yun as she got out of the car.
She was pretty, her black hair tied into a ponytail, dressed in a black and white school uniform, her little face fair and eyes black and cool.
Qiao Yun was completely oblivious to the gazes around her as she looked up at the enormous statue standing at the school gate.
When Li Miao got out of the car, she saw Qiao Yun staring dumbly at the statue and came up to her, complaining, “What kind of taxi did you take? It could practically be in a race.”
Qiao Yun thought for a moment before saying, “He did indeed participate in rally racing before.”
Li Miao: “So now not only are delivery guys all-rounders, but taxi drivers are starting to become all-rounders too?”
Seeing that Qiao Yun was still looking at the statue, Li Miao explained, “This is the school’s founder when he was young, named Qiao Ansheng. Do you know who he is?”
“I know,” Qiao Yun nodded.
Li Miao thought she had researched the information and continued, “The students he taught are now pillars of the state, many being awarded the national lifetime achievement prize. But few have seen what he looks like; it seems he fears disturbance and is well-protected.”
“I wonder if he ever got married or had descendants.”
Li Miao was quite curious.
Li Hanzhou was standing right behind Li Miao, listening to her go on and on, telling her, “You talk too much.”
Li Miao pouted.
However, Qiao Yun spoke up, “He never married, but he has a granddaughter.”
Li Miao laughed, “Hahaha, how can he have a granddaughter without getting married? Qiaoqiao, that’s a really cold joke.”
Qiao Yun didn’t argue, and the brilliant sunlight that fell into her pupils momentarily stunned Li Hanzhou.
He watched her for half a minute, then averted his gaze.
“You’re going to be late.”
Qiao Yun withdrew her gaze and started walking toward the school.
“Wait,” Li Hanzhou called her, tilting his chiseled jaw slightly, “button your collar.”
He watched Qiao Yun unbutton two buttons on her collar, revealing her fair clavicle, and clicked his tongue.
Qiao Yun looked down, “It’s hot.”
Li Hanzhou leaned forward, raising his hand, and without further ado, buttoned it for her: “Don’t be indecorous; a student should look like a student.”
Qiao Yun noticed that Li Hanzhou’s fingers were quite attractive, well-defined, with good proportions, hands worth dissecting for study.
Li Miao, utterly dumbfounded, looked down at her own collar unbuttoned by two buttons, not understanding how this related to being indecorous.
“It’s hot,” Qiao Yun moved her neck.
Li Hanzhou chuckled, “The classroom has air conditioning.”
“Oh,” Qiao Yun turned and walked away.
Li Hanzhou was speechless.
She’s just going to leave?
Is the air conditioning that important?
Li Miao caught up with Qiao Yun and whispered, “I’ve discovered that my brother is sick.”
Qiao Yun paused and asked her seriously, “Is it serious?”
“Very serious, extremely serious, I’m really scared inside,” Li Miao expressed her concern.
Qiao Yun replied indifferently, “Don’t worry, tell me when he’s about to die, and I can turn him into a robot.”
“That way, he can live forever, though he won’t be able to eat and would need to charge.”
Li Miao: ???
That didn’t sound like a good thing.
