Atlas gave everyone a plate of spicy meat, which caused the women's mouths to water as Grishna's stomach rumbled. He chuckled before giving extra to the Orc women as he commented, ''Eat up Grish, if you want more I'll cook up some extra.''

She beamed when heard and started eating as the others followed suit. Atlas sat down as Zena thanked him. ''Thank you for breakfast. It's delicious.''

''You're welcome,'' he replied while eating himself.

Ten minutes later, Atlas finished eating before standing up and going to sit on the sofa as the women continued talking about the upcoming journey. Once he was comfortable, he activated the Void Realm.

He was sucked into the strange world but readied himself for a fight as roars echoed throughout the jungle. Atlas grinned before checking on his monster total to see how many he had to kill.

After doing that, several figures lunged from the underbrush while trying to bite him. Atlas used Void Step to dodge the World Eater, which was letting out a menacing growl. When seeing this, he stabbed the monster through its eye while hitting another with Void Blast.

His magic turned them to ash but Atlas quickly blocked as another attacked causing him to grunt as Void Guard held the creature back. Thanks to that, he could counter by using Void Wave.

The azure flames sent the World Eaters flying, which allowed Atlas to finish off the downed creatures. Following that, he continued killing the monsters, which was getting easier to do thanks to his experience.

An hour later he appeared in the branches above as he pulled up the monster total for the level to see how long until the boss fight.

''Only fifty-one won't take me too long to do,'' Atlas muttered, only to hear a growl behind him.

He spun around abruptly, his eyes widening as he spotted a pack of World Eaters perched on the neighboring branch. His mind raced as panic surged through him. 'Oh, fuck,' he thought.

Before Atlas could fully react, the nearest creature leaped across the gap, slamming into him, and dug its claws into his torso. Gritting his teeth, he reacted instinctively, driving his blade deep into the monster's torso.

'Arghhhh! Fuck this shit!'.

The two of them fell to the ground below. He landed so hard that it took his breath away just as the World Eater bit onto his left arm; he let out a pain-filled yelp but quickly shook his head and blew its head apart with a Void Bullet.

Everything went white as the explosion was too close. He managed to scoot away as another monster slammed into the spot he was just in. Atlas quickly cast Void Lance at the creature, which tore it apart.

'These things are getting easier to kill,' he mused as his excitement exploded.

The azure projectile struck the World Eaters with devastating precision, piercing their torsos and sending them tumbling back. The sudden impact gave Atlas a brief moment to catch his breath and create some distance.

However, the respite was short-lived. From the shadows, a hidden World Eater burst forth, its movements a blur as it lunged at him with deadly precision. Before Atlas could fully react, the claws of the creature raked across his side, pain flaring as his skin was torn open.

Following that, Atlas woke up in the living room as the women were still chatting but his heart raced while checking on the monster total to see if he could fight the boss.

'Sixteen more. I'll fight the boss next time and they can come with me,' he thought while looking at the group with a smile.

Afterward, he soon fell asleep because of his mana being low. As he slept, Zena approached and wrapped a blanket around him as Grishna teased, ''Why keep acting like you don't like him? We all do and are getting to know each other while traveling.''

The next morning, Atlas woke up feeling stiff, the chill of the cold weather having seeped into the treehouse overnight. Without hesitation, he cast a Void Bullet into the fireplace, igniting a roaring blaze.

'That feels better. I hate this cold,' he thought while wrapping the blanket around himself.

Warm air quickly spread throughout the living room, easing the icy grip on his bones. As the heat enveloped him, he noticed a blanket draped over him. A flicker of curiosity crossed his mind.

'I wonder who put this here,' he pondered, a small smile tugging at his lips.

Afterward, Atlas stretched, a series of satisfying pops echoing from him as he worked out the stiffness. He made his way to the small kitchen area, brewing himself a cup of tea while his eyes roamed the treehouse.

The soft sounds of steady breathing filled the space; all the women were still fast asleep. Taking a quiet sip of his tea, he made up his mind. He'd set out alone for a while, leaving them to rest undisturbed.

'They can join me when they're awake,' he thought before finishing the tea and standing up.

Seconds later, Zena walked into the kitchen with a tired smile. ''Morning, Atlas, what are you doing up so early?''

''Couldn't sleep because of the cold,'' he answered the wolf woman.

Once she heard that, she beamed before suggesting, ''Why don't I keep you warm while we both sleep some more? The sun hasn't risen yet.''

Atlas nodded in agreement, and she responded with a subtle motion for him to sit on the sofa. As he watched, she settled onto his lap before leaning in close, her lips brushing near his ear as she muttered softly, ''I'm going to use my magic, so don't worry.''

A wave of heat seemed to radiate from Zena's body as her black tail brushed up against him and the two of them warmed up.
