Shui Xian hurriedly pulled Raelle inside and closed the windows. He even pulled the curtains and turned off the lights leaving Raelle staring at his neat movements with a surprise. "What are you doing?"

"Isn't it a tryst?" questioned Shui Xian. "I'm giving it the vibe of the tryst. We can't let others find out that you are here. Isn't that why you came through the window?"

"Who said that? Maybe I just wanted to see what Romeo felt like standing under the window of Juliet," answered Raelle seriously making Shui Xian laugh at her. He pinched her nose lovingly. Raelle slapped his hand away, "What? What did I say wrong?"

"Nothing," replied Shui Xian and pulled her to sit on the bed. He continued to hold her hand and looked at her face. n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om

At first, Raelle didn't say anything but then she couldn't help asking, "Why? What are you looking at me for?"

"I am seeing how my wife changed so much this year. If I tell someone that Raelle Xiang went out of her way to climb walls and windows to come and see me, no one would believe me. They might even call me a delulu!"

"Then let's not tell others about this. This is a secret between you and me."

"Wife, although your words sound reasonable, I suspect that you just want to maintain your image in people's minds."

Raelle cleared her throat and pushed his hand away saying, "Let's go to sleep. It's so late at night now." She dragged him to lie down and finally rested her head on his chest with a relaxed expression on her face. Shui Xian was also feeling peaceful once he was able to hug her in his arms. He had also been tossing and turning since he came back. This unfamiliar room also didn't help so he was even more restless. Who knew that Raelle would give him such a pleasant surprise?

He was still unable to believe that his wife actually did something so adventurous for him. No wonder he seemed so hateful to Hyson considering that poor guy spent years trying to change Raelle but was able to achieve little. But he was able to achieve a lot without even trying.

He didn't have to be envious of Hyson anymore. After all, he was Raelle's husband. There was a huge difference between the two of them. With these thoughts swirling in his mind, he was able to go to sleep immediately.

Shui Xian woke up when Raelle was trying to untangle their limbs. "What time is it?"

"Five in the morning," answered Raelle.

"What are you doing?" "I need to get back to my room before anyone else wakes up," replied Raelle. Shui Xian instantly woke up and sighed. Raelle patted his chest saying, "You go back to sleep. There is still time."

"How am I gonna sleep without you?"

"When I go for a morning run, you are often asleep."

"That's because I know that you'd eventually come back to our room."

Raelle couldn't say anything to refute it. She could only say, "Let's meet at breakfast."

"No," refused Shui Xian. "I'm gonna find my tracksuit and go for a run with you. I'll meet you outside!" He did not want to toss around alone in this room like last night.

"Aren't you sleepy?"

"Who cares about sleep? You are more important. I really don't like the idea of not seeing you in my bedroom."

"Then let's meet in about thirty minutes, okay?"

"Okay," Shui Xian made an 'OK' sign before walking behind her. Raelle again went back the same way she came in. She did not see anyone around and was easily able to go back to her room. She relaxed once she got back and started getting ready for her run. So thirty minutes later, she met Shui Xian outside on the track without leaving trace. She even went over to hug Shui Xian and said, "I missed you so much last night."

Shui Xian's lips twitched looking at her acting but he went along, "I missed you more."

"Why are you both being greasy so early in the morning?" "Why do you care?" retorted Raelle and then ignored Xiang Wai. "Tsk. You and your bad temper!" commented Xiang Wai. "How was last night?"

"Why do you care?"

"I'm your sister, I care about your well-being."

"You looked quite excited to me last night seeing me in a corner."

Xiang Wai rubbed her nose as she didn't expect that she didn't go unnoticed last night. Raelle was watching everything even if she didn't say it. Xiang Wai pursed her lips and was reminded of what her brother told her to stay out of trouble with Raelle. Why did she keep forgetting it?

"Why is Cloe not here?" she chose to change the topic right now. She actually wanted to run away but if she did that then that'd be really shameful. "She went to see her family," replied Raelle. "She'll be here today. Why? Do you miss her so much?"

"It's not that. I just... Well, maybe I do miss her. You are no fun. Ge is boring from eternity. And Fai needs a reason to fight with me. Wait, I think Fai had been nicer to me but that's scarier. I feel like he is up to something."

"And you say I have trust issues. You are worse than me," said Raelle. "I know you want a friend. Cloe will be here today. Don't worry about it."

"How about I go to pick her up?" asked Xiang Wai. "Where is her hometown? How far is it from here? I heard she doesn't have a good relationship with her family. Do you think she'd be fine there?"

"So many questions? It does seem like you miss her and you are even more concerned about her situation," Raelle didn't expect this situation at all. She knew that they were getting closer but she didn't think that their feelings were growing at such speed. "Her hometown is five hours drive away from here but it'd be easier to travel with the chopper. You'd be there in no time. You can ask Uncle Eric to take you there if you want to do so. But if you are going because you are worried about Cloe than there is no need to do so. She isn't that weakling as she was once. She had grown up a lot in these years. And I wouldn't have trained her if she wasn't capable. I believe she'd be able to handle her family."

"I know she is capable but haven't you heard that when people become shameless they are scared of nothing. I am afraid she might be entangled by that shameless family. And she is alone which will make her seem like the weaker party."

"Just go and talk to Uncle Eric, he'll arrange it all for you."

"Why don't you tell him?"

Raelle gave her a look, "Wai, this family isn't just mine. Is there anyone who disrespected you here?"

"No."

"Then why are you hesitating? You should go and order people around however you want. They are obliged to listen to your orders as they do to mine. There isn't any difference between the two of us. We both have the same surname."

Xiang Wai was momentarily stunned when she heard that. She also remembered what Xiang Weimin said yesterday and she had to agree that thankfully, she was tactful just now. If she had said that this estate was hers and she couldn't be a master here, Raelle might have really not let her go easily.

But Raelle's words reminded her that they indeed have the same surname, Xiang. They might be raised differently but they weren't that different either. "If you don't boss me around I won't feel like we are different," retorted Xiang Wai confidently.

"If you stop being so guilty around me all the time then I'll stop bossing you around too."

Xiang Wai was stumped again. "What did you say? How am I guilty?"

"Aren't you guilty about blaming me for your broken family? I don't understand why are you not able to let go of it until now."

"I can't help it. The more time I spend with you, the more realize how much I missed out on because of my stubbornness. I shouldn't have been so stubborn back then and avoided seeing you."

"I don't like so many sentiments so early in the morning," said Raelle calmly. "I'm going for a run with Xian. If you want to come, then come. If not, you can go find Uncle Eric first to get things ready for you."

This time, Xiang Wai did not hesitate before agreeing. She was ready to go and find Uncle Eric first. She was looking forward to going to look for Cloe. In this way, she'd be able to see the towns around too. She needed to find something fun to do. It was only right for her to do something fun with a partner like Cloe.
