Mission XX: Seducing The Great Seducer

"I have long wanted to call you since it was morning here but I was afraid that it was still very early there that is why I did not call," Rose said.

"You sound like you have something to tell me, is everything alright there?" Jane asked curiously as she went to the couch and sat down. Jane became even more anxious when Rose did not utter a word after her question.

"What is it? Say it and stop keeping me in suspense because I am not in my best mood at the moment," Jane said. When she left everything was perfectly ok, so she could not guess what is the problem.

"The entire country is in an uproar right now...,"

"Did a war break out?" Jane interrupted in an anxious tone.

"It would have been better if it was a war which broke out," Rose muttered momentarily forgetting that Jane was still on the line..

"If that is not the case then what is wrong?" Jane asked in a more composed tone.

"The news of Jasmine and Jackson being in a relationship is the trending news since early in the morning. If they were no evidence to back up the news people would have regarded it as a rumour but there are several pictures to back up the news. In all the pictures circulating, Jasmine and Jackson were always acting intimates that is why so many people believe the news," Rose relayed in a sad tone.

"By Jackson, you are not perhaps referring to my Jack right?" Jane asked subconsciously standing up from the couch.

"I also wish it was another Jackson that I was referring to," Rose said dejectedly.

"Why the hell would that b*tch be mistaken for my beloved Jack's girlfriend? And what is the Smith and Allen family doing about it? Why haven't they had the media house block the news?" Jane asked curiously?

"The news would have been very easy to take down if it was only on newspapers and television but unfortunately the whole internet is filled with the news. Taking the news down is not easy," Rose explained. She was so happy that Jane wasn't there physically, she would not have known how to calm her down if that was the case.

"What about both families holding a press conference to deny Jack and that b*tch being in a relationship, has the time for the press conference being set?" Jane asked sounding desperate.

"Even though both families were to deny the news, it won't stop the news from circulating except it is done by the individuals involved in the news. Jackson has to come back and issue an official statement about his real relationship with Jasmine for the news to die off," Rose explained in a calm tone. Jane began pacing about the room when she heard Rose conclusion.

"Even though I have to sell my soul to the devil I will make that b*tch pays dearly if this news dares affect Jack's reputation or the price of his Company's share," Jane stated angrily.

"Everyone all thought that the news will affect Smith's International negatively but luckily the response has been shocking....,"

"What do you mean by this?" Jane stopped in her track so she could pay apt attention to what Rose wanted to say.

"Smith's International share price has skyrocketed since the news circulated. And same with J& S Innovation. Both companies are benefitting big time from this. I guess that is why none of the companies has officially come out to deny the alleged relationship," Rose concluded sounding nervous. She was so sure that Jane will lose it after hearing the news and just like she imagined Jane flared up.

"That is not possible. It is not just possible," Jane keep on chanting before she smashed her cellphone against the hard floor.

"Jasmine has a bad reputation. So many rich families hate her so how could the news about her relationship with Jack be well received," Jane said in denials.

As if smashing her phone wasn't enough she began breaking things in the hotel room, forgetting that this was not her home that she could just ruin her entire room.

Meanwhile in Jasmine's hospital room. Two minutes after Jasmine used the restroom Jackson's phone rang. Jackson's eyebrows furrow in annoyance when he saw the caller ID.

"Didn't I tell him not to call me except in emergency so why is he calling me now?" Jackson complained as he reluctantly answered the line.

"Do you have a death wish or are you perhaps tired of your job, Max?" Jackson asked coldly, his gaze focused on the entrance instead of on the restroom door.

"None of the above, boss," Max replied in a mellowed tone.

"If none of that is your wish then why did you call me? Have you perhaps forget what I said before I left?" Jackson asked sternly as he adjusted his position on the couch.

"It's is not my wish to disturb your vacation but it's just that there is a turmoil over here at the company...,"

"Is there something wrong with the company? Why didn't you call if the company encountered a problem? Did you think I would praise you if you waited until the problem got to this stage?" Jackson asked as he subconsciously stood up from the couch.

"Yes, there is a turmoil going on in the company right now but the company itself is doing amazingly well...,"

"What do your words mean, I can't follow what you are trying to say," Jackson asked sounding confused.

"This morning everyone woke up to be greeted with the news that Miss Jasmine and you are a couple. This topic is the number one trending news on the internet. The company has been bombarded with calls and fax from so many media houses since this morning. The company's front is crowded with reporters. But despite all these the company's image and stock prices has not been affected negatively. Instead, the stock prices have risen so high that everyone is dumbfounded....," Max trailed beaming at the other end.
