But there is a lot of scenarios that will mold the mc for good or bad. I liked that he wasn't throwing trouble in the mc direction. But. Well this is a big but. Why does the mc keep breaking up relationships with everyone around him? There was also a part where he changes the character of the emperor making him behave out of character. The Emperor seems carefree, dominant but smart, he didn't seem to care about the material or items and also gave his support to the mc. But out of nowhere, he turns his back to the MC for an artifact???? Or for some stupid nobles ? Why would the emperor do that ? It didn't make sense. The author really wants to hurt the MC to make him evil and does a bad job at it. If you want to make your mc evil just make him evil don't put betrayal left and right.
