Chapter 637 An Unknown Spear
"Just who is in VIP Room Number 11? I don't recognize that voice. I've met every heir from the Ten Great Families, but this voice... I've never heard it before," Heidi muttered, her expression clouded with curiosity as she pondered the identity of the mysterious bidder.
"I wonder about that too," Veni replied, pouring herself another glass of wine. "The person bidding can't be an heir—the voice is too deep and mature. It's definitely the voice of a middle-aged man." Her tone carried a note of seriousness.
"I agree, Veni. Perhaps the person isn't from the Ten Great Families. It's possible he's just a wealthy individual—or maybe even Emperor Philip himself," Heidi speculated, sighing softly as she resigned herself to not uncovering the bidder's identity.
Veni noticed the troubled expression on Heidi's face and felt a pang of concern. She knew her Young Lady well enough to sense her inner turmoil. Heidi had seemed so determined earlier but was now visibly upset.
"Young Lady, why did you decide to let go of such a priceless treasure? This could very well be the last drop of a mermaid's tear ever sold. And now we've lost the chance to acquire it for ourselves." Veni's voice was laced with confusion, her brow furrowing as she recalled Heidi's initial enthusiasm for the auction.
Earlier, Heidi had been adamant about obtaining the treasure, even vowing to secure it at any cost. Yet now, she had withdrawn from the bidding, allowing VIP Room Number 11 to claim victory.
"It's alright, Veni," Heidi replied after a brief pause, leaning back into the plush sofa as she swirled her wineglass lazily. "The price reached 31 million gold coins—it's simply not worth that much. I wasn't going to waste such an astronomical sum, no matter how rare the treasure." She took a sip of her wine, her voice calm but tinged with lingering disappointment.

Meanwhile, in another VIP room, Denise Drake was seething with rage. He slammed his fist against the table, the loud impact startling the women around him. They exchanged panicked glances as Denise's fury consumed the atmosphere.
"Who is that bastard who dared to ruin my plans?!" Denise roared, his face contorted with frustration. "He'll regret humiliating me like this! Just who does he think he is?!"n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om
Denise grabbed a bottle of wine and poured himself a tall glass, draining it in one gulp as he tried—and failed—to temper his anger.
One of the women, visibly shaken, approached him hesitantly.
"Young Master Denise, please calm down. You're scaring us…" she said softly, hoping to soothe his fury.
But instead of calming down, Denise grabbed her by the arm, yanking her roughly into his embrace. Without warning, he pressed his lips to hers in a forceful, unwanted kiss. His hands roamed over her body with a disregard for her protests.
"Mmm...!" the woman whimpered, her voice muffled as she squirmed uncomfortably under his grip. Denise's roughness sent jolts of pain through her slender frame, which was far weaker than his.
"Young Master, you're hurting me…" she pleaded, trying to push him away, but her efforts were in vain. Denise's strength was overwhelming, and he had no intention of stopping.
"Shut up, bitch! Just cooperate with me!" Denise roared, his voice dripping with anger and dominance. He continued to forcefully kiss the woman, his actions exuding a toxic sense of control as if she were nothing more than his possession.
The other two women in the room watched in horror, their bodies trembling with fear. Though they understood Denise's frustration, they silently resented the way he was treating them. No anger could justify such humiliation and cruelty.
'How dare he humiliate me like this in front of everyone?! I'll find out who you are and make you pay for this insult!' Denise seethed inwardly, his fury burning like a raging fire.
As his rage consumed him, Denise decided to vent his frustration in the most deplorable way possible. Without regard for the women's feelings, he began tearing off his clothes, letting them fall carelessly onto the sofa.
Moments later, the room was filled with the muffled, unwilling moans of the women, echoing beneath Denise's unrelenting dominance as he forced himself upon them to satiate his anger and bruised pride.

"The next treasure on our list is something truly special!" Teressa's clear, melodious voice rang through the stadium, instantly captivating the crowd. "This is the first time I've witnessed something so extraordinary in my entire life!"
Her words sent waves of excitement rippling through the tens of thousands of spectators. The audience erupted into cheers and whispers, their anticipation growing with every passing second.
"And here's a little hint about the treasure," Teressa continued, her voice brimming with enthusiasm. "It's a weapon!"
The crowd's excitement reached a fever pitch. The mere mention of a weapon sent imaginations soaring, though none could yet guess the nature of the treasure.
Moments later, the stadium's atmosphere shifted as two hundred men entered, all pulling a single long wooden box. The box wasn't particularly large, yet the sheer number of people required to move it left the audience utterly baffled.
"What's going on here? Two hundred people to pull one box? Are they playing some kind of joke?"
"There's no way that small wooden box could weigh so much. This has to be a mistake!"
"And those aren't ordinary men—they're Magic Knight Commanders! What kind of weapon needs this much manpower just to move?"
The crowd erupted into heated discussions, some skeptical, others astounded.
"Even if we manage to buy it, how would we transport such a weapon? It's impossible to store something so heavy in a magic pouch!"
"Exactly! It's going to be a logistical nightmare."
Teressa let the murmurs spread for a moment, allowing the anticipation to build. People debated excitedly, their curiosity about the mysterious weapon growing with every passing second.
The box was secured with heavy metal chains as two hundred Magic Knight Commanders pulled it toward the center of the stadium, the hardwood scraping noisily against the ground.
After a considerable struggle, the group managed to position the box at the stadium's center. They then removed its cover, revealing a stunning gold and silver spear inside.
"Is that a spear? And is it made of gold and silver?" someone exclaimed in disbelief.
The crowd stared at the weapon in astonishment. It seemed impossible—a spear forged from gold and silver, metals known for their lightness. Even a single Magic Knight could normally lift such a material with ease. Yet here were two hundred Magic Knight Commanders struggling to move it. The sight defied all logic.
"Holy Son Arthur, what do you make of this spear? Could anyone possibly lift something so heavy?" Princess Livia asked, her eyes carefully studying his expression for any hint of deceit.
"I—I can't say for sure, Princess," Arthur replied hesitantly after a moment of thought. "Perhaps the Gods residing on the floating island could lift it with ease. After all, they are gods—almighty and unparalleled in strength."
Princess Livia nodded thoughtfully. "You're right. No mortal could possibly lift or wield such a weapon. It's simply beyond human ability."
"But the Gods can," Arthur said with a faint smile, his gaze returning to the magnificent spear at the stadium's center.

"Darling, that weapon… It's a Spirit Weapon, isn't it?" Grace asked, her voice tinged with awe as her eyes glimmered with curiosity.
"Indeed. I'm surprised to see something of this caliber here," Yuan replied with a smile, his eyes locked onto the spear as he examined it closely with his Divine Sense.
"This truly is a surprise. A Divine-Grade Spirit Weapon appearing at an auction like this is beyond my expectations," Anna said, leaning comfortably against Yuan's chest, a slight smile playing on her lips.
Valeria approached with a radiant smile, settling herself onto Yuan's lap and wrapping her arms around his neck. "Yuan, I want that spear for my mom. You might not know this, but she used to be a Magic Knight who specialized in wielding the spear."
"Oh? I didn't know Vanessa was skilled with a spear. She'd get along well with Rose, then—they both use spears," Yuan remarked with a smirk, stealing a quick glance at Vanessa and Rose.
"Well, I was already planning to bid on the spear," Yuan continued, his tone firm. "We can't leave such a powerful weapon in the hands of a mere mortal."
He pulled Valeria closer, capturing her lips in a passionate kiss, a confident smile lingering on his face as his attention drifted back to the incredible weapon.
Seeing Yuan kissing Valeria so passionately, Miss Zara felt a pang of jealousy. She rolled her eyes and turned her gaze elsewhere, trying to distract herself from the scene.
"We don't know much about the spear," Teressa's voice echoed through the stadium, drawing everyone's attention. "It was recovered from an archaeological site, found deep underground. Moreover, we have no idea what kind of metal was used to forge it."
She paused briefly before continuing, "Although it appears to be made of gold and silver, our researchers discovered it's actually composed of an unknown metal—one we've never encountered before."
With a radiant smile, Teressa declared, "The starting price for this extraordinary treasure is 5 million gold coins! The bidding is now open!"
"7 million!" Princess Livia's voice rang out from her VIP room, making her the first bidder for the mysterious weapon.
A stunned silence fell over the stadium. Everyone turned their gazes toward Livia's VIP room, their expressions a mixture of shock and disbelief.
"8 million!"
The silence was broken by Ajex's voice as it resounded from his VIP room. He pressed the bidding button, causing the magical lamp outside his room to glow.
'This weapon is perfect for me. But to wield it, I'll need to grow far stronger than I am now,' Ajex thought with a smirk, his excitement barely contained. 'This will be the ultimate motivation to push myself further.'
