Chapter 662: Chapter 664 Relationships (3)
“Knock, knock, knock” echoed another round of knocking at the door; Xue Feifei had already brushed her teeth, tidied up, and was ready to rest.
“Who is it?” She spit out her mouthwash, dried her face, and guessed that Lu Weixi who left hastily earlier might have left something behind.
She left the bathroom, unlocked the door, but as she was about to open it, she had a sinking feeling.
If it were Lu Weixi, why wouldn’t he say a word?
However, it was too late. As she hesitated, the door was already unlatched. Once pushed, the door swung open — standing there, shocking her, was Yu Sixing!
At this, Xue Feifei’s heart pounded in her chest, wishing she could shut the door quickly. Yu Sixing held the door open with his arm: “Be good, open the door.”
“Good my ass!” She wasn’t stupid. Opening the door at this moment was an open invitation to let him do whatever he wanted. Despite her precautions, changing hotel rooms, she still couldn’t escape him, could she?
“Yu Sixing, this is not your home. If you continue like this, be careful, I’ll call the police!” Xue Feifei gritted her teeth in anger, pushing against the door with all her strength with both hands and feet. Like a game of tug-o-war, she resolutely kept him out.
Yet Yu Sixing didn’t seem angry. He only turned his head: “Sister-in-law, why are you here?”
Sister-in-law? Is he referring to Lu Weixi? Is she really coming down? Then didn’t she see them…? Xue Feifei was taken aback, her strength relaxed momentarily and Yu Sixing seized it, pushing the door wide open.
Xue Feifei retreated two steps back. The door closed behind Yu Sixing. Instead of rushing forward, he bolted the chain lock.
Xue Feifei learned from her previous experiences; she needs to strike when he’s off guard! She seized this opportunity while he was busy locking the chain and charged at him, launching a kick. As Yu Sixing had just turned around to lock the chain, Xue Feifei’s kick hit his leg.
Perhaps due to the impact, Xue Feifei stumbled backward until she steadied herself against the wall.
Once he secured the chain, Yu Sixing turned towards her, casting a sharp glance over her.
Learning from past painful experiences, Xue Feifei retreated cautiously, her face alert.
Yet to her surprise, Yu Sixing only glanced at her and, stepping aside, he got into the bedroom and sat on the edge of the bed.
In other words, if Xue Feifei wanted to leave, she only needed to unbolt the door and rush out. He didn’t seem concerned about stopping her.
And why should he be worried? The entire production was funded by him; if she dared to leave now, he could reveal their secret to the whole cast tomorrow.
As expected, Yu Sixing didn’t show concern. He watched her standing close to the door, poised to run, glancing between him and the door, torn between fleeing and sticking around.n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om
Yu Sixing ignored her, only turned and opened a bottle of water which was in the room, then slowly raised his head: “Come here.”
Xue Feifei didn’t move. Yu Sixing took a sip of water, then patted the bed next to him, raising his voice slightly: “Come here.”
Xue Feifei still didn’t move, her expression showed a tiny crack of defiance: “Yu Sixing…”
Yu Sixing placed the water on the side table, took action himself, grabbed her arm, and pulled her towards him: “Do I always have to take the initiative?”
Was this a matter of initiative? It seemed to her more a question of coercion.
