My Unconventional Delivery System!

Kanae and Shinobu finished eating the cup ramen, Kyle was waiting for them to finish. "Hey, little girl do you think that your sister there can drink milk in her current condition? I'm not knowledgeable about such conditions, so I need to ask."

Shinobu didn't mind Kyle calling her a little girl, if it was any other person she would have definitely become enraged but not with Kyle, him being God was already deeply rooted in her belief. ​​

"Yes, she can definitely drink milk in her current condition, if she will drink or not is solely based on her decisions however." Shinobu answered, pondering a bit on the question.

"Then, I'll give these to you, one for you and one for your sister." He gave her two bottles of milk, each with 500 ml of content in them.

Receiving the drinks, Shinobu was surprised to feel the warmth radiating from the bottles. The surprise was short-lived however, as she recalled Kyle's identity she mistakenly believed to be God.

"Thank you!" 

She could only thank him, she couldn't refuse him as she may offend him, she didn't have any intentions of refusal either. From meeting him for the first time till now, all he did was for their benefit and she didn't think it would change now. "You're welcome, you need it more than your sister, so drink it."

"Why?" Shinobu asked, confused as to why she would need something like milk more than her sister who was injured and could drink it to gain some extra energy. There should be some logic behind his words, that she had complete belief in, so she simply questioned him about that.

Kyle grinned mischievously, replying playfully to the girl's innocent question. "So that you can gain some height that you clearly need."

Shinobu immediately froze at those words, it hit the bullseye, her sore spot that she was extremely bitter about! Her sister though was brought to a giggling fit at Kyle's words; she also agreed with Kyle.

"W-what are you saying! I-i-im not short!" she stuttered, blushing heavily in embarassment, she had nothing to retort with, so she could only feign ignorance and bluff.

She couldn't get mad at him, not after what he did for them, he was their savior, he was God himself, she wouldn't think of even daring to get mad at him. Her words however, made Kyle grin from ear to ear, he had her in his palms now. "Eh~? Did I say that you're short?"

Kanae laughed out loud this time, it was just so funny seeing her stern, tomboyish little sister get so flustered by so few words. She pondered about the words Kyle said, coming to the conclusion that he really had a way with words. Shinobu on the other hand became unable to utter anything, she had dug her own grave, nothing she could say was able to turn this conversation around, she had nothing to retort, only silence could give the embarrassment she felt some solace.

"Alright, alright. I'll stop teasing you. Now, where are my manners. I haven't asked for your names, so tell me girls, would you be kind enough to grace me with your names?"

"Of course Kami-sama, my name is Kochō Shinobu and my sister's name is-" 

"It's Kanae, Kochō Kanae." She cut off Shinobu, informing him of her name herself, a small smile hanging on her pale lips.

Shinobu was greatly taken aback by this development, she understood her sister the most in this world and she had never seen her sister cutting someone off like that, it was something impolite to do and she thought that her sister didn't even know the word impolite, her very being was pure and likeable. She was polite, calm, generous and friendly, loving everything in creation, rudeness was something she wasn't capable of yet… 

… yet something strange was happening to her now, she became rude to her own sister, she didn't mind it but it wasn't like her sister to act like that. It seemed that she… that she was very eager, too much even, to introduce herself to this man- no God?

An abrupt thought flashed in her mind, a strange thought which seemed to be more likely by the second, and she simply couldn't believe it though it still was highly likely to be the case. 'No way... that.. couldn't be the case right?' 

She studied her elder sister, her expressions, her gaze, she was curious and had an extremely interested look to her ever calm and cheerful face, a gaze she had never seen before on her, which made all her assumptions to be true no matter how much she tried to deny it, what was inevitable would always be inevitable. She turned to look at Kyle with a very complicated expression. Even she didn't know why she had that expression on her face.

"Shinobu and Kanae… how beautiful; extremely fitting names for two equally beautiful individuals." Kyle smiled as he said their names and his real thoughts about them. They were as stated, his true thoughts, he found their name as equally beautiful as they themselves were, he had no intentions to flirt, a tempting offer but he would probably never see them again so it was meaningless to him. His words were casual and without additional thinking fully reflecting his thoughts for them to hear.

His thoughts however were pleasant surprises for the girls, Kanae smiled brightly, her gaze softening further as it kept itself fixed at Kyle's slightly smiling form, Shinobu herself was blushing, a bit heavily too, nobody and truly nobody had ever praised their names and simultaneously praised themselves like that. Nobody had uttered the names beautiful and associated it with their names before, she was happy, so was her sister.

She was a bonafide tomboy, her tomboyish attitude didn't let her appreciate many things, yet for the first time in her life a person of the opposite sex had praised her, calling her name beautiful, calling herself beautiful and she was immeasurably happy with that simple praise.

"Than-"

"Thank you!" Kanae stated happily, cutting off her sister once again.

Shinobu like before was feeling complicated, looking at her sister with an equally complicated gaze, she had never once seen her to be this eager to thank a person, to talk to a person.

Even though her sister was rude to her, she could never get angry at her. She could only sigh, she was now absolutely sure, no doubts remaining, that her sister Kanae was extremely interested in the God standing in front of them or else she would never behave so aggressively.

"Sir, may I have the honor to know your holy name?" Kanae's curious voice carresed her ears and interest, as she also was curious about this question.

Kanae was of the same thought as Shinobu, that the person who helped them, the man in front of them was God, that's why she phrased her question with those respectable words. 

Kyle was slightly embarrassed, hearing Kanae ask for his name with such respect. It was as if she was addressing a king, he faked a cough to hide his embarrassment. "Cough- you know.. you can just ask me normally… it bothers me that you ask for my name with such respect, there is nothing special in my name, nor about me, I'm named Kobayashi Kyle."

Kanae just smiled, extremely happy hearing his words, she replied in a typical onee-san fashion. "Fufu~ Ara~ is that so Kyle-sama."

Kyle's face twitched a bit hearing her wordings. 'Damn this girl, did she just state the legendary Ara? She isn't a milf and if I remember correctly she's just 17! She's even younger than me, not even a onee-san.'

"Hey, you don't have to add Sama in my name either, actually you could just call me without honorifics, if you don't mind that is."

"Is that so? But I insist, Kyle-sama!"

'Sigh.. women are complicated..!' Kyle thought, simply speechless because of this girl's behaviour.

The 3rd party Shinobu was looking at the interaction between her sister and Kyle with even more complicated emotions, much more than the previous instances.

Now she was more than 100% sure that her sister had a thing, okay she could say it, her sister had a crush on Kyle, she felt uncertain, she could find no reason for her to develop such a feeling for him in the first place! Her sister's current train of thoughts still eluded her.

She couldn't come up with any logical explanations, however... there was the slightest bit of discomfort she was experiencing around the place of her heart, while she saw them interacting.

Shinobu realized, almost immediately, that she was jealous! Again why was she feeling jealous eluded her like the reason for her sister's sudden interest in Kyle. What she couldn't believe was she actually felt jealous of her elder sister interacting with Kyle!

How? Why? She couldn't even start to understand what made her jealous? 

She once again stared at both of them, and in her eyes reflected their happy interactions, chatting happily, a bit of banter here and there, they both looked so happy in each other's presence, this made her even more uncomfortable than before, the painfuo sensation was slowly increasing.

Knowing this regardless of the reason why she felt so jealous, she knew that she, at the very least, had to join in on their conversation, she didn't want to be left out, nor did she want to keep experiencing this pain, which she knew for a certainty would be diminished if she didn't feel so left out of it like she did now.

"Uhmmm…! Onee-san l-let's drink the milk since it's getting cold…" Instead of joining in on the conversation, she ended up interrupting Kanae, again not knowing why her initial decision came to this conclusion. She was going nuts today! It was official!

"That's right, Kanae, you should drink the milk, it has already gotten a bit cold, let's not let it get cooder. "

"Is that so? Then I'll drink it now with Shinobu~" Kanae looked at Shinobu with a bright smile which Shinobu could swear on her life was anything but a smile, instead it looked like… like…

She couldn't explain it, though the sensation of chilliness she felt radiating from it made her scared, she still replied however, though her voice quivered ever so slightly.  "Y-yes! Let's drink it together, O-onee-san!"

Kyle gave them basic instructions on how to open the milk bottle, learning quickly both Kanae and Shinobu opened and started to drink the milk. At first they thought it was going to be like the standard cow milk that they were so used to; that it would be plain and tasteless, nothing special.

After the first gulp though, the taste registered on their taste buds made their eyes as round as saucers, both of them stopped drinking and exclaimed the exact words simultaneously, even their tones were a reverberation of the exact note. ""Delicious!""

They couldn't believe how sweet it was, it didn't have the weird taste that was usually present ok standard milk of a cow.

Shinobu and Kanae could swear that this was by far the most delicious drink that they had ever tasted in their whole lives!

Kyle enjoyed their expression, their exclamation, giving people happiness, also made him happy, though he wasn't one fact… he felt that the taste of the milk might have been improved by the system. He was very sure that they wouldn't have overreacted if they drank the normal milk he had originally bought for them.

"Is this really milk? How come it's so delicious?"

"Kyle-sama this milk… is this a common commodity in your place?(Heaven)"

Kyle nodded without hesitation and much thought, replying casually. "Yeah, it's a pretty common drink in my place."

Both of the girls were astonished! To think that the gods had such a drink as a commodity. Amazing!

It didn't take them long to finish their milk, they were satisfied by it, however they were also a bit disappointed that they won't be able to taste the milk of the gods anymore.

While they were still feeling the aftertaste of the milk, a person appeared near them speaking with a cheerfully eerie tone. "Oh? You're alive? What a surprise!"

The person's voice and tone were cheerful underlaying the eeriness also present in their voce, if enough attention was given one could notice however that the words and tone themselves had no emotions attached to them whatsoever. An oxymoron that proved the reason of the eeriness one felt hearing their voice.

Shinobu and Kanae immediately became alert and simultaneously unsheathed their Katana from their waist.

Even though Kanae just recovered and wasn't in a stable condition, it didn't change the fact that she was a trained soldier, she could still fight in a condition like this, albeit she couldn't pull her full strength effectively.

However after seeing the person, Kanae's expression turned eerily dark, for this was the person- no the demon who tricked and inflicted her with the life threatening injuries. Her voice was oozing venomous outrage as she spoke his name. "Doma!!"

The Demon in front of her was none other than the Upper Moon 2 - Doma!
