Noticing the concern in his voice, Yao Ran held his hand and asked, "Why are you so worried about them? You even insisted on saving them back at Shan Wu Resort."

He turned to look at her, then continued, "I want to build a good relationship with him. When the time comes for us to confront The Ark, we might need his help. Having one more ally is always better than having another enemy."

Listening to his reasoning, Yao Ran smiled and sincerely praised him, "My boyfriend is a genius and so far-sighted. With you planning everything, I can just relax and enjoy life."

It took three days to finalize their plan and produce enough explosives to bomb the city center. Although Yao Ran had a stockpile of explosives in her personal space, she couldn't take it out.

On the fifth morning since Long Yu's group had returned to the air raid shelter, Yao Ran woke up earlier than usual. Seeing that everyone else was still asleep, she quietly went to the main hall.
