After leaving the public office, they drove to the parking lot. After parking the armored cars, one of his subordinates asked, "Captain, what is our next plan?"

Wu Yehao thought for a moment and replied, "Leave two people to guard the cars. The rest of you will be divided into teams of two to search for Miss Yao Ran. We will meet back at this place in four hours."

Hearing this, the others responded in unison, "Yes, Captain."

After they dispersed, Wu Yehao glanced at a dark alley nearby for a moment before walking away.

The shorter man glared at him and retorted, "I'm not blind."

Noticing that the shorter man was still staring at Wu Yehao's back, the taller man asked, "Brother, what do you want to do now?"

The shorter man thought for a moment, then chuckled. "Those armored cars are good things."

Hearing this, the taller man asked nervously, "Brother, are you planning to steal those cars?"

The shorter man licked his chapped lips and sneered, "Gather our brothers. I will wait for you all here."

Seeing that he was serious, the taller man could only nod. "Alright."

As the two men sneaked out of the alley, Wu Yehao stood atop a nearby building, coldly watching them. After the men separated, Wu Yehao leaped from the rooftop and secretly followed the taller man.

Back in the villa area, Yuan Rihui finally returned with a truck and a group of men. Knocking on the door, he waited for a moment before Shi Xuan opened it.

Seeing him there, Shi Xuan said, "Brother Yuan, you are here."

Yuan Rihui smiled, "Brother Shi, are the supplies ready?"

"Yes, Yao Ran has prepared the supplies in the backyard. You can drive the truck into the garage, and we can start loading," Shi Xuan replied.

Yuan Rihui nodded. "Alright."

He turned to his men and said, "Drive the truck to the garage."

"Yes, Brother Yuan," they replied.

As his men got to work, Yuan Rihui said to Shi Xuan, "Brother Shi, can I check the supplies first?"

Shi Xuan nodded. "Of course. Please follow me."

Shi Xuan then led Yuan Rihui and his men through the barren flower garden to the backyard. Arriving in the backyard, they were stunned by what they saw.

Staring at the pile of fresh meat and the sacks of rice, one of them said in disbelief, "If this is a dream, I don't want to wake up."

Shi Xuan chuckled at his words and turned to Yuan Rihui. He said, "Brother Yuan, you can inspect the supplies first. Once you are done, we can start loading them onto the truck."

Hearing this, Yuan Rihui snapped out of his daze and said, "Oh, um, alright."

Walking over to the pile of fresh meat packed in plastic bags, Yuan Rihui inspected them one by one. Seeing the blood still seeping from the meat, he knew that the livestock must have been slaughtered less than an hour ago.

Satisfied with the quality and the freshness of the meat, he moved on to check the rice. Opening one of the bags, Yuan Rihui scooped out a handful of plump, white grains.

As soon as he saw the rice, his hand trembled with excitement. Sniffing it, he caught the fragrance of freshly milled grains, free from any dampness or musty odor.

After returning the rice to the bag and tying it up, Yuan Rihui ordered, "Load them up."

"Yes, Brother Yuan," his men responded promptly.

While his men loaded the rice and fresh meat, Yuan Rihui approached Shi Xuan and said, "Brother Shi, please convey my thanks to Miss Yao. I never expected her to provide us with new rice and even freshly butchered meat."

Aware of the deal Long Yu and Yao Ran had struck with Yuan Rihui, Shi Xuan smiled and replied, "Brother Yuan, this is part of the agreement. We are offering you high-quality rice and meat because we hope you will prioritize our arrangement."

Yuan Rihui laughed at his words and nodded, "Don't worry. I have already informed my elder cousin, and he already sent people to investigate. We should hear the news in a few days."

After listening to his words, Shi Xuan nodded in satisfaction. "Then we will await your good news."

While the two chatted, the others had finished loading the truck with the rice and meat.
