Chapter 2109 God of Preservation - Part 1

"Why you!!" Vishnu immediately grabbed Jin and slammed him down on the ground with a takedown. The impact was so strong that it broke through the flooring and Jin fell to the basement.

However, what Jin did was worth it. He could see that the Gods can actually bleed as well. Vishnu noticed it and realised that his regeneration powers were not working nor were his defensive mechanisms. They did not work and Vishnu was surprised that Jin was able to deal such an assassination blow against the God of Preservation.

Thankfully, when Jin took the prototype weapon to use it against Vishnu's neck, the material broke from the immense power of chi and magic that Jin had utilised at the same time, making it look as if Jin had blasted a strong blade of energy against the unguarded Vishnu.

"You bastard!" Vishnu shouted and his voice reverberated throughout the entire capital of Ress and Rifle Mages who were on duty quickly moved towards the Castle as they could feel the intent to kill from their position.

"It worked… hahaha," Jin knew that it was still a little to fight against the gods but this was the only way to ensure that their anti celestial weapon was working. As much as the God of Preservation wanted to act against Jin right here right now, the bleeding was not stopping and if he did not seek medical attention as soon as possible, it was possible that he might actually die over here.

So, he decided to take his rage elsewhere by making Jin suffer the most not by killing him but by making his entire kingdom crumble. With whatever magic that he wielded at that point in time, he summoned a phantom palm at the top of the isolation barrier that was protecting Ress from external dangers and slammed it down.

The monstrous force caused the barrier to not just shatter but its residual force broke most of the high rise buildings that Jinn had built. It was especially so for the central warehouse tower which was considered to be the cornerstone of the New Ress City.

The tremendous celestial force broke the tower into half, causing all the warehouse resources to break and scatter throughout its area. However, the most imminent threat was not the injured citizens but the demons who were waiting for the isolation barrier to drop. With what Lord Vishnu had done, it gave the demons the perfect opportunity to pounce into action.

Those who were manning the Northern Walls were mostly recruit Rifle Mages who were doing their stint to ensure that they familiarise themselves with the battlegrounds. They and their superiors had no idea that such a situation would happen even though it was part of their contingency plan if the demons were able to destroy it.

The veteran Rifle Mages sounded the alarm and started to raise the alert to the highest considering the entire isolation barrier had been broken down. Unfortunately, while all this was happening, Jin was barely able to stand the damage that the God of Preservation had done to him despite not knowing what sinister thing that Lord Vishnu had done to his kingdom.

Even though it was a mere throw to the ground, the entire move was filled with celestial energy and it was eating up his magic and chi. He felt that it was something like a 'reflect' move where the God of Preservation had taken the damage and pushed it out back to the enemy. Considering how Jin had managed to assassinate Lord Vishnu, the payback was equivalent.

The only difference was that compared to the usual punches that Lord Vishnu received, this was the first time that he felt his life was in danger.

Still, regardless of the injuries that occurred, Jin threw Mr Hammer toward Lord Vishnu and the latter merely attempted to deflect it without knowing that the moment it contact with the hammer, a process had started.

"Commencing Improvised Smithing. Target located, Construction of Celestial High Cage had started. Debuffing in progress." The System stated that Jin relied on Mr Hammer and its clones to constrain Lord Vishnu. In the meantime, he gathered whatever strength he could and took out the new Bam and Boo.

Despite the time when he has gotten Bam and Boo again, all he had been doing with it was to train, there was no time for him to try it out. Yet at the same time, considering how dangerous the God of Preservation is at the moment, it might not be possible to achieve the same kind of damage to Lord Vishnu at all.

All he could do was to hold out while Mr Hammer does his job and of course, it was easier said than done. The moment Jin came out of the basement in an attempt to engage in combat with Lord Vishnu, his fist was already moving toward his face. This was despite the fact that Mr Hammer was constantly debuffing him with various ailments to reduce his strength. Experience tales with empire

Jin knew that the hit was inevitable and decided to take it in strife but at the same time poured his magic and chi into his swords in order to stab the arm that was about to hit him. To his surprise, Bam and Boo were able to pierce him but Jin got slammed once more, causing him to black out momentarily.

It was only then Gara was able to get out of the aura suppression and move to rescue Jin. At the same time, the Commando Mages had already begun their sniping, using the highest level of piercing magic they could summon in order to assassinate the 4 armed Celestial.

However, the payback damage was still in effect and any bullet that managed to go through Lord Vishnu's protective barrier and lodged inside his muscles, the payback effect caused the Commando Mages to take equivalent force damage to themselves. Almost everyone except No.4 fell to the ground upon receiving the damage.

No. 4 was still able to stay conscious and he activated his spell that caused the bullet that was lodged in Lord Vishnu to spiral inversely. It twisted the God of Preservation's arm and to No.4's surprise, the payback did not get back to him. This meant that there was a delay or interval in the payback damage.

Still, Lord Vishnu stared at No.4 for the damage he had done and sent six huge phantom arms to slam the Commando Mage Leader down.

Obviously, he opened up this barrier to defend himself but with all six fists slamming at all directions, the barrier broke and caused No.4 to be crushed.

Yes. Crushed as blood splattered throughout the entire phantom fists.

This was the power of a Celestial and this was the first causality that the Commando Mages had suffered since its inception.
