Picking Up Beautiful Girls In The Post-Apocalyptic World!

The palace was packed with guests that came to celebrate the engagement of the first prince with Duchess Willow. Everyone was happy and laughing while enjoying the festivities and no one could possibly imagine the scene happening right outside the doors of the hall!

Gregory was on a rampage! In his hand was his [Dark Sword]. It is a sword made entirely of shadows. He can increase or decrease the length however he wishes and he can also change the shape to become either a whip or a scythe. With a weapon like that, none of the guards stood a chance!

“Isn’t that Gregory? W-What happened to him?”

“I don’t know but we can’t let him pass! He looks possessed!”

“Form a barricade for the royal hall! Make sure this mad man doesn’t get through!”

“I always knew that dark magic was evil! But this is just too much! This is more than simple evil! He looks like the demon!”

The guards were saying things like this while moving away from Gregory. He had this hair covering his eyes since it was so long. He was shirtless and the number of scars on his body from his training made him look like a real demon!

The first guard shouted like a beast as he ran up with a spear! He knows that Gregory had been imprisoned all this time so there is no way a boy like this can fight him!

Crack!

Gregory didn’t even move. The guard’s eyes just widened as he saw his spear crack against Gregory’s body. My god. Is his body made of steel!? Gregory rose his hand up and brought it down at frightening speed and the guard’s entire body split into two and dropped to both sides before he even knew he was dead!

The other guards screamed as most of them resorted to using magic attacks against Gregory! They couldn’t be sure that he was going to die from physical attacks so they had to keep their distance!

Gregory dodged to the left and avoided some of the initial attacks before his eyes turned red!

[Eyes of Horos] has been activated.

He blasted through a giant rock that was thrown at him and swiped the head off three guards in quick succession. He kicked the fourth guard to the ground before he squeezed his hand.

[Dark Shadow] has been activated.

Hundreds of dark hands burst out from the ground and engulfed the man completely! He screamed as he was dragged down to the pits of hell! The other guards saw this and they suddenly became terrified, this isn’t normal magic anymore! They know that people can be strong with magic, but there is nobody that can do things like this!

“Stand back. All of you should go to the hall and fortify it! Let the head maid know about this!!”

The person that spoke up was a female knight that had a cold gaze. She is the head knight among the knights here and she decided that it would be better if she held Gregory back by herself. Her strength was at least worth that of twenty knights combined. If it was her then she would surely be able to hold him back!

The other knights didn’t even try to question her and quickly ran away from that place. The female knight drew her sword and pointed it at Gregory in a threatening manner.

“If you stop here then we can grant you clemency, Gregory. You don’t have to go past this point”

Gregory looked through his bangs and he felt his mind search for a name he hasn’t called in close to ten years. Ah, yes…

“Vivian. Vivian the prodigy. It’s been a while since I saw that irritating face of yours. Tell me, how is your dear mother? Is she still a whore that leeches of my father to make you move higher in the academy?”

Vivian’s face grew red in anger once Gregory said this and she shouted!

“What kind of nonsense are you spitting! You better watch your tongue, Gregory! I’ll only let it go this time because we were once friends, but I won’t tolerate anything against my mother!”

Gregory released a low chuckle. His time in the future taught him many things. He had free reign of the empty castle at that time and so he was able to find the records of the money his father always sends out to Vivian’s mother, as well as the ‘implicating’ letters she would send back as thanks. An affair in a royal family wasn’t new to him, but it was just funny. His perfect little family isn’t so perfect, is it?

“I already told you that I’ll forgive you if you surrender now! Just drop your weapon and then we can – Urk!!”

[Bloodlust] has been activated.

Vivian suddenly choked on her own words as she felt Gregory’s bloodlust! Her hands shook and her eyes widened! What was this feeling? It feels like she is about to die!

“You can’t speak like you’re a human being after looking away from me as I was dragged to the tower. There isn’t anyone else I would enjoy killing more than that family of mine but trust me, you’re a close second.”

Clang!

Gregory slashed towards Vivian, but he was surprised when she was still able to bring up a sloppy defense even in the face of her fear. A true knight till the end. How stupid.

Squelch!!

Ten shadow hands burst out from Vivian’s back and her sword went slack as blood began to flow out from her mouth. Gregory eyed her kneeling body for a moment before he swung his sword across her neck and her head fell to the ground with a thud!

From where the other chosen were watching behind Gregory, Fey squeezed her hand around her staff while trying to hold herself back from stopping Gregory. She didn’t know why Han was allowing this to happen! Did he think it was right!? Although she thought about all this, she still didn’t say anything, but Leona was not so reserved.

“You are a monster. You could have saved that boy! You could have taken him and brought him back without him even putting up a fight!”

She was adamant to make Han see that what he did back in that room was wrong. She tried to stop Gregory before but she still felt fear knowing that Han was the one that allowed it. She couldn’t stop it without fighting it out with Han and it was obvious who would win that fight.

Dorea, meanwhile, was indifferent. She had already seen everything she could hope to see in her life. Living for more than five hundred years isn’t something many humans can boast and she can say she is very close to that number already. But she was just curious as to why Han would allow it. He isn’t someone that enjoyed things like pointless killing, she was sure of that much. Well, at least she hoped.

Han remained silent. He didn’t bother responding to Leona and he didn’t even notice Fey’s torn expression. He just watched Gregory move across the castle and continue killing people. Han couldn’t say he was doing this because he enjoyed it, that would be a full-blown lie. The only reason Han is allowing this to happen is that he could see potential in that boy.

Han’s world was kind to him. He never experienced the pain of losing all his family, just some of them, and he never got to experience something this bad. He was just a poor bastard who was down on his luck back then.

And even with only that, Han knew how great the hatred in his heart was. He hated his situation and also everyone that put him there.

If someone tried to stop him from carrying out his revenge then he would have surely gone mad from that hate. So then just how much hatred does that boy have inside him? A boy who lost his family and friends and even his royal life before he even knew what he did wrong. If Han takes this away from him, then it would be too cruel. And besides, people need a sane mind before they can really achieve their full potential. Gregory would only have a sane mind after this is done.

If Gregory dies from this then so be it. Whatever the outcome is, Han will accept it for what it is. And besides, as of right now, Han was more interested in other things. Like that strange power, he could feel coming from the center of the castle. Han wondered if there was something there for him to take. It wouldn’t be too bad to have a weapon from a magical kingdom on hand!

Han turned back to the fight and suddenly felt shock pass through him. Gregory had just defeated Vivian and Han could see some sort of gas leave her body and enter Gregory’s body! He turned to the other girls there and noticed none of them react to the strange occurrence. Was it that he could only see this because of his [Almighty Overseer]? Could they not see it at all?

[Assimilation] has been activated.

Han quickly activated his assimilation skill to look at Gregory’s tab!
