Chapter 378: Fourth World: Wedding Planners and Plotters

The world's messiest scribbles on Wen Qinxi's essay titled 'what I appreciate about my love' didn't come close to the thousand mark prescribed by the tyrant a.k.a his husband. But because he poured his heart into it Qie Ranzhe barely noticed. Anyway, this punishment was basically a slap on the wrist and a cover for his true intentions.

One might wonder what sort of words were written that literally brought this man to his knees to propose? Well, it was follows.

What I appreciate about my love

There is nothing as special as having someone you can spend the rest of your life with. This is why I put on paper the words in my heart to appreciate the one I love.

He is a powerful force not to be reckoned with throughout different lifetimes but that's not what I am going to write about today. What I appreciate the most about him is the way he loves me passionately, even when it seems unreasonable. His love remains unconditional even when I do silly things. Thank you for being the world's most enduring man.

Each time I hear the words 'you are so handsome' come from him, my heart melts into a puddle and my confidence skyrockets to a whole new level. No matter what anyone says about me, it won't bring me down because your words are embedded in my heart. Thank you for the beautiful words you say to me that hold me up no matter what I face.

He is amazing, handsome and true-hearted just as the love and affection he showers on me. I am truly privileged to have such a unique selfless person in my world to fall in love with. Thank you for loving me despite all my shortcomings...

These were the special words written to Qie Ranzhe by Wen Qinxi minus the scratched out sentences. Wen Qinxi was never one good with words but these were his true feelings. It was these earnest words that moved the crime boss melting his icy heart.

News of Qie Ranzhe and Su Xin's engagement was kept under wraps to the outside world. Even their wedding plans were known by a handful but for a woman who wanted to exert revenge, she managed to get her hands on the information with ease.

This woman was none other than Zhao Hua. Her heart was torn to pieces when she found out the man she thought of day and night while she was barred in the mountains by her father had no feelings towards her. Over the past months, she worried about him being under Qie Ranzhe's hold.

She came up with an elaborate plan to run away with him as soon as her father granted her permission to leave the mountain. As long as Su Xin would still have her she would do everything and anything. When she left the mountain her sister updated her on Su Xin's situation which further motivated her to proceed with her plan.

Who would have thought the love of her life had a massive case of Stockholm syndrome falling in love with the man who supposedly held him captive. It hurt so much but she dealt with the pain the most rational way she could think of. She wished him well and eternal happiness but Zhao Huangzhi still had to pay for deceiving and manipulating her.

Using her connections from university she managed to find out not only the date but also the location at which the lovely couple planned on having their beautiful wedding. A beachside and a low number of guests type of wedding, romantic and simple in its making. She couldn't help but feel a tad bit jealous as she shoved her tablet to the side.

Zhao Hua was not messing around. She had her friend spoof messages on her cellphone as though she was communicating with Su Xin. After making the messages look as authentic as possible she went to look for Zhao Huangzhi.

She found her sister at her apartment pampering herself in preparation for what she could only describe as a ghost wedding. Zhao Hua rolled her eyes before putting up a happy front. "Jiejie, why didn't you call me over so I could join you?" she asked sitting next to Zhao Huangzhi who had a clay mask on her face.

Zhao Huangzhi immediately waved away the ladies doing her manicure and pedicure. She sat up straight and stared at Zhao Hua with great interest. "I thought you might be busy with your plans so I didn't want to disturb you," replied Zhao Huangzhi with a genuine smile that would have fooled Zhao Hua in the past.

Struggling to swallow the resentment she felt towards her older sister, Zhao Hua stood up and grabbed a bottle of mineral water from the fridge. "What happened?" asked Zhao Huangzhi after following her to the kitchen. She needed to know what was happening not that she didn't have other means to find out.

She had people watching the both of them in the shadows so she could find the perfect opportunity to claim her seat on the throne. But if Zhao Hua wanted to share that would be even better. It meant less work on her part.

Zhao Hua finally gathered herself and turned around with an uneasy smile. "He's getting married on a private island this weekend," said Zhao Hua with reddened eyes.

It's not that her acting was great but that these were her genuine feelings. She was sad about losing Su Xin but that's not what hurt her the most. What pained her was her sister's betrayal. They weren't super close throughout the years but they never quarrelled or fought for Zhao Huangzhi to harbour such hatred towards her and go as far as ruining her. In this world, if she can't trust her family then who else can she trust?

Zhao Huangzhi reached over the countertop and placed her hand over Zhao Hua's in a comforting gesture urging her to continue. Zhao Hua looked down at that hand and almost broke down in anger. She swallowed hard fixing her expression and said, "He said he will escape while no one is looking and run off with me."

Zhao Huangzhi's expression changed slightly but she composed herself and asked, "How does he plan on doing that if it's a private island?"

"He asked me to sneak in at the back of the island with a speed boat and pick him up then we will join a nearby cruise ship that will be passing by the area and disappear together," she explained while swiping open her phone to show her their messages.

While Zhao Huangzhi was going through the messages, Zhao Hua continued to say, "I just came to say goodbye because we might not see each other for a long time."

Zhao Huangzhi raised her head abruptly and suggested. "There is a high likelihood that Qie Ranzhe will pursue you guys..... How about I go with you? I can at least hold him back and buy you some time."
