Chapter 127: Chapter 127: Months Later, Before the Otherworldly Quest



[3rd POV - Gwen] [Months Later]

Months had passed since Gwen had absorbed the God of Grimm, and in those months, she had not only completed a lot, but had also been...quite bored.

For one, she had continued to anonymously save faunus around the world, having long since completed that task in her system evolution quest. She had gotten a lot of recognition over time, with more and more people knowing of her deeds, and the freeing of faunus.

It had gotten to the point that even Atlas and Jacques Schnee had taken notice, with Jacques being...less than pleased with the freeing of his "Workers" while Atlas (And James Ironwood) were not happy with the man for using what were basically slaves. But at the same time, they couldn't do anything, as the Schnee's were incredibly important to them, due to their dust.

Menagerie continued to grow larger and larger with every new burst of faunus, and thanks to the unknown "Saviour" as they dubbed her, the island continued to improve its conditions, with towns sprouting up out of nowhere thanks to Gwen's power. She had saved far more than just 100,000 faunus, as she found that there was more faunus in need of help than she initially thought, with them being used and abused all over the world, and pretty horribly in some

areas.

The girls had continued to train their power, mastering their aura to new levels. But like Gwen, they began to grow bored of this world, as they realized that it was...pretty weak, arguably more than Korra's, and while interesting in the beginning, it slowly became more of a bore.

Of course, they did enjoy their joint training with RWBY and JNPR, but that didn't do much to make it any less boring for Gwen. Although she did enjoy teasing Blake and Ruby, especially after she pushed them to go with Yang (For Blake) and Weiss (For Ruby) for the Beacon dance that was held. She was pretty certain that the two groups would be together by the time she left for the next world.

During these months, she had continued to hunt down the grimm pools around the world, and had (as of a week ago) officially absorbed the last of them, completing it's respective quest, and officially stopping Grimm from being born anymore. This had given her 250 NL tickets, all of which were promptly turned into 25 TL tickets.

She had over these months, continued to increase her cores and their power, jumping from Yellow (Light) to Silver (Mid Stage). She was only able to progress so smoothly, thanks to the knowledge she had from Arthur, and her various other characters in regards to magic, meditation, and purifying energy. Her Aether core had stayed at 4 layers, as it was far more difficult to increase the power of.

The biggest gain she had gotten over these months was the infinity stones. And finally, after practically a year of work, she had managed to sever the first of them. The severing process was grueling, even for her. It not only took a monstrous amount of energy (even for her) but it had also been extremely delicate, and took entire days to complete. And the worst part about it, was that after she had completed the first one, she found that the remaining stones had become much more difficult, as if protecting their connection or something.

The stone she had severed first was...the Space Stone, one that she was quite connected to, and one that she found was the easiest to sever (surprisingly enough). The absorption process had been even more dangerous for her, as her body was broken apart over and over adapting to the presence of an Infinity Stone. Said stone had been turned into a new "Core" in her Spark, becoming a part of her very soul, similar to that of the Matrix of Leaderships, and joining her cores that were not a physical presence.

Absorbing this had naturally completed a quest, massively boosted her power, and she found that it would continue to be strengthened as it connected to new universes she traveled to. It seemed to already be connected to RWBY and the Young Justice universe, and it would continue to connect to the concept of space from every universe she traveled to. This was done thanks to the severing process, as it would not "adapt" to it's local universe, bonding to it in a manner similar to how it was bonded to the MCU, but making room for bonding to more universes.

It's safe to say that Gwen's control over space based powers and space magic, was now at an entirely different realm, as was her senses, which extended over the entire universe with ease, and was more thorough than before. And once she absorbed the Time Stone, her "Spider Senses" would show her both the past, present, and the future, stopping her from ever being caught off guard, except by those that are simply too fast, or too powerful to sense.

Naturally all of this had completed a number of quests, as well as some other miscellaneous ones that she completed over these months.

This had given her another 509 NL Tickets, all of which were turned into TL tickets except 9. Those nine were then consumed for some new NL characters.

None of them were all that impressive, besides the TBATE characters. And even they weren't all that good, besides their welcome new bursts of knowledge. It was mostly the fact that she got a ton of TL tickets, and completed another task in her system evolution quest, that

brought her joy.

With the quests completed, Gwen was now deciding to focus on completing one of the easier ones, the quest involving completing otherworldly quests.

Sitting in her room, Gwen let out a small as she read the screen in front of her, the otherworldly quest she had decided to take on. In challenge mode at that, it wouldn't be too

difficult for her, not with the power she had.

The Chosen One | Harry Potter

Details - A dark, desolate version of Harry Potter, where Harry Potter, the boy who lived, has...been turned dark. Courtesy of constant manipulation, abuse, and bullying. However, he is not evil. Sadly, this has caused some side effects, one of which being Voldemort returning early...and more powerful than ever before. Stop him before he can take over the magical world, and eventually the human one.

Reward - 25 NL Tickets.

Challenge Mode - Do with only Harry Potter characters, oh, and he has the allegiance of the Deathly Hallows, and has underwent a ritual that make him nigh immortal, and he has all of

his horcruxes.

Reward 100 NL Tickets.

The quest would be easy enough to complete as from what she understood, he "Had" all his

horcruxes, as in, he has absorbed all of the soul shards, making him "whole" once more. This would mean that a well timed "Avada Kedavra" would instantly end the man, and the quest. She would absorb him, of course, as his power would be a decent addition to her, but killing

him should be easy enough.

Smirking, Gwen chose to begin the quest, all the while, muttering.n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om

Next chapter will have a lot more happening, with it being the next otherworldly quest. Gwen

has officially absorbed her first infinity stone, massively boosting her power.

If you can't tell, I'm trying to get RWBY done with, as writing RWBY is...not fun, as slice of life

just ain't my thing. So the next volume will likely not be Owl House, but the next mainline universe with stuff happening. Owl House will probably appear in an Otherworldly quest.
