Yang Taihe knew that they had to free themselves no matter what, and he followed behind Zhang Xuansheng as they released a powerful strike to tear apart the black void.

“You can’t run.” The black cloaked True Immortal’s voice rang in their minds once again as the black void started to churn as it tried to swallow them whole. Their divine souls’ range started to shrink once again as the connection between them and the Spirit Luxuriant World was cut off completely.

“He’s trying to suppress us in this region of space!” Zhang Xuansheng frowned, but even though he knew that the situation was bad, there wasn’t a trace of panic in his voice.

“Is he trying to capture the 2 of us alive?” Yang Taihe asked in a strange tone.

“Nope. I don’t need 2 of you. True Immortal Zhang is enough for me.” The black cloaked True Immrotal’s voice rang in their minds once again, but this time, his voice seemed to appear right beside them.

Zhang Xuansheng reacted instantly. The protection barrier around him exploded and the power it contained swept across the void in an attempt to shove any threat away.

Yang Taihe also made his move as a brilliant radiance tore the area around them into a chaotic void.

Turning around abruptly, Zhang Xuansheng discovered that the distance between them had already increased greatly as a pillar of black flames separated them.

“Shit! Not good...” Zhang Xuansheng felt his heart thumping and knew that the black cloaked True Immortal would definitely try to deal with Yang Taihe first as he gathered a ball of energy that turned into a strange pearl that he shot through the pillar of flames.

As the pearl reached Yang Taihe, they suddenly noticed a thin stream of light cutting through the black void as a familiar figure stood before Yang Taihe who wasn’t looking too good.

Zhang Xuansheng heaved a sigh of relief, silently grumbling in his heart about the delay.

At the same time, he quickly moved to surround the black cloaked figure.
