Chapter 1423: Avengers Assemble!

The space around him shattering wasn’t the only thing that happened. It started to spread and it attempted to devour Kou Chongxue, Huang Jinghan, Yin Jingxu, and the clones!

Unlike what the other party expected, Shang Xia was exceptionally calm while looking at the incoming attack. In fact, a brilliant light flashed in his eyes as he muttered, “What a large brush! I wonder how it will feel when I use it to craft talismans.”

The moment he unleashed Void Seal, the area that was affected was massive. However, unlike the last few times he used it, his companions weren’t affected by the void seal.

That wasn’t all. Other than the void that was frozen, the brush that emerged from the Star Ship also stopped in the void.

Kou Chongxue and the other True Immortals of the Spirit Luxuriant World discovered the brush trembling violently on the void as though it was trying to free itself from some sort of restriction. Shang Xia looked like he had his sights set on the brush and from its reaction, everyone felt as though Shang Xia was planning to grab the brush for himself. What was more absurd was that he was about to succeed!

As it turned out, there was more than 1 high-level True Immortal on board the Star Ship. Before Shang Xia obtained the brush, a Ruyi emerged from the ship and lightly tapped it, causing it to shrink rapidly. It flew through space and stood between Shang Xia and the Star Ship.

“What’s the matter? Are you really willing to act like humans and negotiate now, you animals?” Shang Xia didn’t bother hiding his disdain.

Facing Shang Xia’s provocation, the brush and Ruyi flew in both directions, forming a massive rift above the Star Ship. Even though it looked like the void was unsteady, an even more majestic aura descended.

Shang Xia’s expression changed slightly and indicated for Huang Jinghan, Yin Jingxu, and the clones to back away. Kou Chongxue also moved to the side a little so as to not take the brunt of the pressure, leaving only Shang Xia to face the aura of Zhuo Gudao, the grand completion stage sixth tier True Immortal of the Star Origin Dao Field!

A formless storm raged between the 2 high-level True Immortals and the originally fragile space started to twist and wrinkle. Both sides probed each other out with their divine souls and soon, the region of space became a restricted zone where the others couldn’t feel what was happening.

Behind Shang Xia, Huang Jinghan and Yin Jingxu nearly failed to protect the clones and they could only retreat even further.

The only person who didn’t move was Kou Chongxue as he stood by the side and continued to store his energy, ready to attack in case anything happened.

Opposite Shang Xia, the members of the Star Origin Dao Field didn’t look too good either. Even though Zhuo Gudao looked like he held the advantage, he didn’t actually affect Shang Xia much.

Shang Xia’s divine soul seemed no weaker than Zhuo Gudao who was at the grand completion stage of the Martial Void Realm and the small Star Ship that belonged to the Star Origin Dao Field started to bob up and down in space. In the end, even they had no choice but to retreat.

Eventually, an aged voice emerged from the blurry spatial tunnel that was created by the Star Ship when it arrived. Even though the space around them was twisted, his voice rang clearly in everyone’s mind. “Sixth tier?!”

“True Immortal Kou, I’m merely a junior compared to all of you.” She spoke softly while maintaining her bearing.

Zuo Li looked to be in high spirits as his gaze locked onto Shang Xia who was on the other side of the void, past the Star Origin Dao Field’s Star Ship before looking at Kou Chongxue. “We rushed over as soon as we heard what happened. How is the situation in your Spirit Luxuriant World?”

Before Kou Chongxue could respond, more True Immortals emerged from the Star Origin Dao Field’s Star Ship. Like Zuo Li and Lian Jingyi, they were also a pair of male and female, but the difference was that both of them were fifth tier True Immortals.

They were also the ones who used the brush and Ruyi in the exchange against Shang Xia earlier.

Even though it was Shang Xia’s first time meeting them, he knew their identities. They were Yuan Yan and Pei Lu, the fifth tier True Immortals of the Star Origin Lord Manor.

Behind them emerged another 2 fourth tier True Immortals. Among them, 1 was True Immortal Chang Kun who had been injured by Shang Xia in the past. He looked to be completely recovered and the other was Tong Yutang, the current Star Origin Guards Commander.

Behind them came another 3 third tier True Immortals. They were the third tier True Immortal, He Yingrui, the second tier True Immortal, Liu Jiuzhen, and another mysterious second tier True Immortal they had never seen before.

Shang Xia and Kou Chongxue instantly recognized him as someone Feng Ziying mentioned as a hidden expert of the Star Origin Dao Field.

7 of them quickly stood in specific locations and formed a battle formation the moment they arrived. Despite the distance between them, even Shang Xia felt slightly threatened.

“Seven Stars Seven Tribulation Formation!” Another voice came from the void and a high-level female True Immortal appeared. She was True Immortal Shao from the Spirit Tinkle World.

No one present would understand the Seven Stars Seven Tribulation battle formation better than her!

“Oh? This place looks pretty happening...” Another spot in the void started to ripple as a bunch of high-level True Immortals arrived. This time, they weren’t from the same world. They were from the Spirit Mammoth World and Spirit Abundance World respectively. They sent a fifth tier True Immortal and fourth tier True Immortal each.

“Beast Warriors!” Kou Chongxue stated simply but other than members of the Star Origin Dao Field, everyone’s expression sank.

Even though everyone was hundreds of miles apart, Kou Chongxue noticed the expressions of everyone present. The smile on his face also disappeared and he continued, “Looks like all of you know who they are and I don’t have to waste any time explaining their origins to you.”

Xiong Hu growled suddenly, “What do you mean by Beast Warriors?!”

Finally, the smile on Kou Chongxue’s face reappeared and he gestured to the members of the Star Origin Dao Field. “We have proof that the members of the Star Origin Dao Field have been communicating with Beast Warriors and have already been experimenting with several worlds in the Heaven Observation Field on their creation!”
