At the same time, the Heavy Crossbows mounted on either side of the Flying Warships' hulls shot out crossbow bolts emitting a pale golden glow towards the Monster Animals in the sky.

These bolts, longer than three meters, shot out with astounding speed and terrifying power, piercing through the bodies of massive eagles, Luan Birds, and other Monster Animals with ease.

The latter fell from the sky one after another.

This fleet, which had appeared out of nowhere, was like a superbly sharp dagger, thrust viciously into the back of the beast horde.

They had caught the monster beasts completely by surprise!

Inside Flying Immortal City, a thunderous cheer suddenly erupted.

Just moments before, the cultivators holding out desperately within the city were on the verge of despair, their resistance growing weaker and weaker.

Including many from the Purple Mansion Superior, everyone thought that today was the day they would perish here.

Who could have imagined that reinforcements would descend from the sky and turn the tide of battle in an instant!

Only those who have faced death can truly understand the preciousness of life; no cultivator was willing to die under the claws and fangs of monster beasts.

The attacks of the monster animals fell on it, setting off ripples like those on water.

But they were unable to inflict even the slightest damage on the Flying Warships.

And these Flying Swords did not cease their assault. They traced dazzling, dragon-like arcs of radiant Sword Light through the sky, weaving back and forth, clearing out the surrounding monster animals.

As new Flying Warships joined the fray, the number of Flying Swords surged, and their attacks became even more ferocious.

Even the tier-two monster animals that attempted to rush the Flying Warships were met with the coordinated attack of dozens of warships; even if they had bodies of steel, they couldn't withstand such ruthless devastation.

As one after another, the tier-two monster animals fell, the "air force" within the beast army collapsed!

Many Luan Birds let out heart-wrenching cries, scattering and fleeing in all directions.

Soon, the other monster animals joined the ranks of those fleeing for their lives!

The commander of the Flying Warships, with a clear head, did not pursue these shrimps.

Taking advantage of their superiority in the air, they launched a second wave of strikes against the beast horde on the ground.
