Chapter 258: Holy Miracle Essence
The moment the lid opened the inchor drop whisked out like smoke and was about to dissipate but Seth's aura was fast. Though, Seth's heart almost leaped out in fear.
He then moved the staff to pass through the liquid.
All this while the members of his room were watching as well as the Auction Waiter. They were amazed by the fact Seth grabbed the liquid with invisible force as that was very hard to do, however, they didn't see anything happening to the staff or Seth after that.
"Is the staff a storage artefact?" the woman asked again.
Seth looked at her, his face covered with sweat but he had the brightest smile on his face.
"No. I was healing the staff self!"
"Oh… did it work!"
"Hehe, more than work!" Seth said as he leaned back with a satisfied smile on his face. 'So that's how it was. Hehe. Troublesome but acceptable!'
The staff didn't just heal but it evolved to match him in Grade and for that it unlocked some of the Locked Nodes.
Two Nodes were unlocked. One was called Channelling and the other was Nascent Awakening.
[Channeling]
This aspect allowed the Staff Elevation owner to channel energies he has under control for various effects.
[Nascent Awakening]
Staff Of Elevation can further improve and develop a sense of independence. Upon full awakening, the other Aspect will be unlocked.
____
Seth held the staff in his hand as he observed it, there was no marking on it. But he can feel it has become heavier and more pronounced than before. More than that, he can now feel more connected and also strangely it felt separate from him.
He poured aura into it and it drank it like a bottomless well, but at the same time, he could feel that he could eject the aura anytime he wanted.
He had already done this before but this one felt a bit different.
As if he can shoot an aura-like projectile and he can connect the staff with something to make a channel to send his aura.
Seth was dying to test it but the eyes beside him didn't allow him. He doesn't want to practice in front of strangers.
He was content with it and so he settled and focused on the Auction going on.
Three items have been sold while he was checking his staff and now they were on an important device.
Water Generator.
The device sucked in moisture and used other enchantments to store water in the tank and the amazing part was one can use red stones to power it.
In the adverse Gawee nature, this device was divine and so people were busy bidding on it.
Seth leaned back, caressing his staff with satisfaction.
Two more items were Auctioned away, each very important to combat Gawee's hideous nature.
In all of Gawee only Garden Of Eden we're able to bring forth those items in auctions. And because of that their reputation in Heaven of Hell never diminished.
Other Sanctuary will only keep them at bargaining items or strategic resources.
The next item being auctioned was particularly interesting. It was a cart. A cargo-like vehicle that needs a puller. One needs to attach it to a horse or any animal that can drag it to move.
But it was very important because it can be folded into 30 cm long and 10cm thick objects. Also, it was extremely durable, even Menos would have a hard time destroying it even if its defence enhancement were offline.
Another thing that made it more amazing was that weight was reduced by 99.99% as well as large items as long as they can enter the cart, become smaller. However, not all items.
'This one is good, should I bid?' Seth wondered. He travels a lot, it will be nice if he can use Little Cub to drag him around while he sleeps.
Though, the cart was made to carry goods not humans but can serve as well.
'Let's see how far it will go!'
"10,000 Gold from Merchant 78. Who wants to bid again? Anyone higher."
"10,100 Gold from VIP Room 7. We have…!"
The auctioneer knew how to rally the bidders and even Seth felt an urge due to his interest but waited to see how far it would go. He was still not convinced to obtain it.
"10,500 going at once…"
"10,500 going twice…"
"Finally, someone added 100 Gold…!"
"We are at 10,600 Gold. Is there anyone who needs it more than the others? Bid again…!"
"10,600. Going once!"
"Did I even need it?" Seth wondered but then he leaned back still undecided even though he had bid the last.
"Great, the Cart is sold to VIP room 7!" The auctioneer shouted.
Seth sighed but somehow he felt he made a good decision. Nonetheless, he convinced himself not to bid until the last item.
However, it was hard to keep away because so many things were being introduced, many things he needed, one was even the Turtle Dome, but still, the fact that things weren't the last ones he refused to bid.
Besides the Turtle reached up to hundreds of thousands before being sold. Assuming Seth has not bought the Cart he would have fought for it.
"This auction was very lively and satisfying, we were able to obtain this many Items due to the hard work of some of our staff and I thank them all!"
Seth knew that those players who ran the mini arena were the staff he was talking about.
"We are at our last items. To be precise, each one of them is unique and can't be found anywhere else but here. Let us begin!"
A rolling table was pushed and placed at the centre of the hall. "Ladies and gentlemen I introduce you, Red Diamond!'' The cloth covering the item was removed and a deep red well carved flat diamond was presented.
"Seven adult dragons were slaughtered, and an ancient castle was dismantled before this Diamond was found at the very heart of it. Some say it held countless mysteries, some say it was a relic of the past, and some say it was a machine battery. Countless scholars have studied it but one thing was certain, it was the hardest material in this land, some believed in the world."
"Red Castle is indeed falling!" the lady beside Seth said. "It started as a rumour but now it's confirmed!" the other person said.
"Red Castle?" Seth asked.
"Yeah, they were one of the old noble families in the Garden Of Eden. Rumours have it that their Patriarch has met his demise and now they are barely able to stay afloat," she said.
"Not really, they are still strong but to stay in power and influence like before they need to make some sacrifices!" the other person said.
Maybe due to the redness of the diamond or because of the Red Book. he felt that he needed the diamond.
"What exactly does it do?" Seth asked.
He learned that the diamond was still a mystery as no one was able to decipher it. But the fact it took a great deal of hurdle to obtain it made it valuable and the fact it was truly indestructible.
The bid was already ongoing but the starting price was already outrageous. A whopping 200,000 Gold.
Seth checked his stash of gold. He still has around 4.7k gold. "Maybe I can add it to the Red Book and create a shield right? Besides, in the skill documentation, there is Shield on it, even though it was not solid."
Seth reasoned but what if there were other things he wanted from the other 9? In the end, Seth bids his way into getting the diamond, losing 2.6k. He did feel a sting but the moment the flat palm-size, well-carved at the edges diamond rested on his palm, he felt a satisfaction he never felt.
His gaze was lost as he scrutinized the item and he felt his red powers becoming silent. It was a strange feeling that he welcomed.
He carefully rested it back in the container. And looked at the next items. It was a mirror that could cure everything.
The mirror will capture whatever illness you have in it and destroy it. But it cools down for one year.
That was when his VIP partners became agitated and began bidding like never before. The item reached up to 500k before it was sold to another VIP.
"Damn it. We should have come with much more gold." The female complained but the man beside her said, "It was never our target to begin with."
The next item was a golden shield named Stand Of The Forgotten Heroes.
Anyone who holds the shield will be impervious to damage and can also summon heroes from his past ancestors.
This shield was meant for those old families that have rich history with powerful figures.
A war of bidding was ignited among nobles that came from other Sanctuaries as well as from the Garden Of Eden. In no time Gold coins reached up to millions in just a few minutes.
Some of the VIPs announced their name and then bid to deter others with their status but most were equal to each other.
In the end, it was sold at 2.3 million Gold.
An old cranky man walked to the stage and looked around, "If anyone uses intimidation again that person will be barred from getting any item in the auction."
There was silence before he walked back.
The next bid was filled with order but one can feel the tension in the air.
The items that came after we were Thousand year old Dragon Egg, Sanctuary Core, One Particular Genos True Name, Map of Ascension, Titan Gene Technique, Slot in Temple of Revelations, Golden Dragon Blood, and lastly which shocked Seth to the core was….
"This Bloodline can be infused in anyone, to anything no matter what problem you are facing. It's a divine bloodline that permanently changes your nature and upgrades it to the divine. I introduce you to Angel Bloodline."
When the vial was opened and the drop of the bloodline was shown… everyone gasped.

The amount of status ascending was maddening and every player in that place was in a trance unable to grasp what was happening.
"Is this permanent?" Seth shouted in terrifying shock.
"Unfortunately, it's just for now!" the woman beside him said. She too was in high spirits and her body transformed like a goddess.
"The starting bid is one nonillion gold!" the auctioneer said.
'Just say it's unbayable!' Seth thought.
At that moment Seth quickly envelope himself and then pulled out the Red Book and started some experiment.
His mind also began calculating and computing different things. In a short moment, he was able to grasp so many things that otherwise he couldn't.
Among the things he grasped were his Wondering Selfs, the one born from Crodo and the one from Dark Sanctuary.
His mind dived deep into his Lord's abilities as well as the crafting and other aspectos he has.
He went on to think about his goals both in the game and the real world.
Book after book was being filled with things he grasped.
His attention turned to First Painting and he began to copy it due to the situation he was in, he was able to grasp so many things and even got enlightened.
"No one bid. Well, then till next time!"
"Nooo!" every player in that place shouted in anger as the Angel Bloodline was stored away.
Crying of sadness and horror filled the auction.
Seth too sat down with a dark face, looking at the vanishing of stats as well as the heavyweight he grasped about his mind.
He looked around as the books spread out that seemed alien to him and what was written was unfamiliar to him. His self now can't grasp his high level of mental processing.
He sighed, stored everything and sat down.
"You are a scholar and artist!" the woman said. Seth nodded and he said, "Red Canvas is the name."
After the auction, he was invited into the family to talk about some things and he even exchanged some items but his mind was still devastated by the loss of that greatness.
He wasn't the only one that was in that state but all the players. He was sitting at a fountain when a man came asking him if he wanted to experience the same thing again.
"Yes, please!" he sprang up like an addict who lacked his source of high but suddenly saw a good dose of cocaine.
"Follow me!" the luxurious man said before he turned and left expecting Seth to follow him but after walking for a long he turned and found no one.
Seth wasn't by the least tricked; he played the man before he took his way.
On his way, he heard a voice, "Mr… Red Canvas"
He turned and saw someone he knew during the arena battle. Web Crawler, a powerful mage that used spider webs to ensnare her opponents before delivering a blow.
Seth didn't struggle against her because she couldn't handle the shift and movement of his staff.
"Web Crawler. Nice to meet you!" Seth said. Immediately, his noble class mindset took over and he smiled amicably at her.
In fact, even his natural presence seemed to have shifted to be more accommodating, and caring and one who was ready to listen.
This was to comfort due to how she looked shy and also in a bit of fear.
And it worked, Web Crawler didn't know when she felt at ease and smiled back at him with no nervousness. "Your battle was very challenging. Even now I can't grasp some of the spells you use!" she said.
"Haha. You know mages should fight, keeping an air of mystery and awe." Seth explained.
"It's true but some people say we are deceptive. But I guess they are just afraid." Web Crawler added before she sighed and looked Seth in the eyes and said, "I want you to buy my Spider. It's a Crawler species with mastery over colour and cloth weaving."
"Hmm. I don't understand what that means but why do you want to sell it?" Seth was curious.
Web Crawler facepalm, she forgot not everyone here knew this type of spider. From where she came from they were common knowledge.
"You see. There was a Spider Mother in Gawee that was the progenitor of all spiders. She gained sentience and evolved her offspring to have various skills." she pushed a strange to him
"Here, this little one you see is not good with battle like me but can make an abundance of webs. While she can process it later into thread silk to make a good wrapper or fabric with different textures and structures, it can even make a normal shirt and trousers of your choice. That is Mastery over clothing.
As for colour, it means that it can cover your wrapper or clothes with the colour you want or leave it as white or milk."
she explained but didn't tell him why she wanted to sell it.
"Come with me." Seth took her to a fountain and they sat facing each other while water spewing beside them.
"You haven't told me why you want to sell her!" he asked again.
Web Crawler sighed and looked at the sophisticated cage with longing and said, "I used to have many of them as eggs. I raised a few and merged with them. This one was dear to me but the party I join now and the place we are going won't be good for her." she said.
There was a bit of truth in her tongue but also falsehood.
"One of the skills I have is seeing the possible future of my spiders. You seem to have a good affinity with her and she liked you. You know these spiders choose their owners. I would have given it to you for free but I see something with you I want."
Seth sighed, "So what do you want?"
"I saw an oval crystal with you. I want that." she said with a bit of fear before she quickly added, "You see this cage is high-end. This chamber is where she makes webs, and here is where she makes the silk fabric, here is where you can put water and food for her. This is where she can deposit some colours if you want as a fainter.
Also, you can give instructions on the kind of fabric you want and she can..."
Web Crawlers continue to talk and talk, none stop about the cage which was in truth a great device.
Seth shoved a paper into her hand and walked away, "See you around Web Crawler!" he said as he disappeared among the people.
She knew about the moon crystal and she needed it but also knew their value that why she wanted to barter her spider.
Seth just shoved three ovalmoons to her and left.
Heck, he is going to Dragon Burtali, he can't have distractions with spiders.
The young lord headed directly to collect the stuff he bought from the Library Of Items.
He may end up meeting Crimson Silk but he has no intention of prolonging the interaction because he has indeed felt someone trying to reach his brain but failed. However, he has no idea if it was the man but doesn't care. He is just going to stay away from the man.
