"Fairly interesting, though you don't pose a lot of trouble."
The imitation yelped, letting out a high-pitched cry, clenching its fists and arching back slightly.
Once it stopped, its attention was redirected to me, and it glared, and proceeded to attack. It thrust its arm which extended far beyond their original size, crossing about tens of meters, and getting to me.
I remained, not shifting from my spot and the extended limb burst apart once it got to me.
I smirked, I had <Haven> activated and a yellow shield of energy encapsulated me, protecting me from the attack.
It didn't stop there, and it continued lunging at me, with a barrage of attacks, its arms bursting apart and becoming undone on contact, but it was relentless, swinging its black arms as if they were whips.
With every burst, its arms regenerated which wasn't surprising in the least bit, and I watched as it repaired itself with the slimy soil beneath.
I began walking, inching closer to it, my countenance stoic and expressionless. The muck minion had little sense of battle, it did nothing but swing its long flailing arms at me, nothing at all, and I was certain that it had skills, was there any reason it didn't utilize those?
I was halfway to it, when I felt my two feet sink and stuck, I looked below, and then back at my opponent.
"Of course it has other tricks up its sleeves." It seemed like things weren't going to be over as soon as I had thought.
The muck holding my feet quickly wound itself around my legs, keeping me in place, and even encroaching to my thighs.
'Nasty'
Then, the muck guardian leap, disconnecting from the sea of itself, and then hovering above. Its body swiftly became a drill of a thing, and it came down at me.
BOOM!
The sound from the impact, but I was unshaken, <Haven> was still standing strong and resolute like a wall, and the thing I was actually worried about was the slithery muck.
I swiped my hands on it, slapping them away, but they only quickly regenerated.
'I was stupid, I should have kept to flight.'
I clicked my tongue, and my feet left the ground breaking off from the muck. My opponent the muck guardian continued beating at my <Haven>, this time it morphed its arms into sharpened short wood spears, and thrust them repeatedly at me.
It increased the pace and the energy behind those strikes as I levitated, and with my eyes squinted in surprise, I noticed.
The ugly strange coagulation of muck and some semblance of life was increasing in size–yes it was becoming bigger, and I reckoned that it fed on the soil, I mean it was quite obvious that it was doing just that.
I have had enough of this, it was disgusting, and honestly time wasting, I had much better things to do with my time.
A yawn unconsciously left my mouth, I had gotten up not long along, and some sleep lingered.
Up above, just about a hundred meters in the air, and I hadn't gone above any of the trees, the trees in these parts were almost mythical, they oozed off some much life energy that I was almost certain that any person who sleeps by it regularly would have their years boosted by over a 100%.
The muck minion had grown over about 50% its original size. It felt surreal looking at a much larger and uglier version of me.
This version was a man child that wanted everything to go its way, and knew nothing but to attack, it was under the strings of another, it couldn't come close to imitating me.
'I am ending this.' I thought, taking an exasperated sigh. Honestly, this confrontation was boring, and I could fall asleep if I wasn't careful.
The minion's more powerful strikes didn't dent my shield of energy nor did it have me backstepping through the air, it was an inconsequential opponent, unaware of the disparity between us.
<Advanced Grand Rock>
I called, and my energy crackling piece of rock hovered. It descended with a boom at the minion, going through its chest before its arm could get to me.
My Advanced Grand Rock went through it like it was butter, creating a gaping hole at its chest, and then suddenly, it scattered into little bits of the disgusting slime.
I descended, though not intending on getting my shoes soiled again and began making my way forward, as I did before I got interrupted.
I stopped, as I heard strange noises, and then turned to where I suspected they came from.
I watched as large bits of muck coiled and swirled around, weaving themselves into shape. And it wasn't just one, there were others, and in total, they were about a dozen.
Once their forms were complete–of my image but larger and dirtier, they came at me, black mouths opened in fervour and large legs thumping.
This was truly truly exhausting.Nôv(el)B\\jnn

'Couldn't you come up with something better?' I found myself questioning.' Creating golem creatures was honestly a cliche ability. It was greatly uninspiring and boring, especially if the creations lacked powerful moves to boot.
And unfortunately, I had no time to tag along with their games, I wanted to finish this as fast as I could.
I called down my trusty powerful rock, and I had it rain immediate judgement on my enemies, those who lacked the courtesy not to look like their foe.
<Advanced Grand Rock> went like lightning and struck through the giant minions in a single flight. It went through them all in under five seconds, and like their previous mate, they scattered and became undone.
'I hope it shows its face now, now that all its cards have been shown and rendered useless.' Yes, I was hoping for the big boss to arrive. The muck guardian/demon.
And speaking of the devil, the thing revealed itself.
