Duan Feihan rubbed his eyes which held a complicated expression in them. “Why did I dream of… Bai Chuwei?”

He moved his hand up to rub his brows and then got up to pour himself a glass of iced water.

The iced water flowed down his throat and completely extinguished the anxiety caused by the nightmare. However, he was wide awake now.

He put down the cup and walked to the window with his phone in hand. His pitch-black eyes had recovered their usual coldness and were staring at the night scene as he made a call.

The call was connected very soon. “Fourth young master, since you’re calling me so late at night, you’ve had a nightmare again. Shall I come over immediately?”

The other person on the line was Ji Shuo, Duan Feihan’s personal psychiatrist.

He would often receive calls from Duan Feihan in the middle of the night. The recurring nightmares were mainly the reason for these calls.

Duan Feihan was the first obstacle in his career. He had tried numerous methods to help him, but all of them yielded no results.

“Don’t come here, I’m fine.” Duan Feihan calmly said.

When Ji Shuo heard that, he was relieved.

However, he became curious the next second. “Then why did you call me?”

A trace of confusion appeared on Duan Feihan’s calm face. He hesitated for a moment before he said, “I dreamt of a girl hugging me.”

Ji Shuo took a long time before he reacted. The fourth young master had called him in the middle of the night for him to interpret his dream for him? He was not a dream interpreter for goodness sake!

But then he recalled that he was receiving a huge fat cheque from this person. He cleared his throat and said, “You should’ve heard of the saying that what you think about in the day would result in what you dream of at night. It’s likely that the dream reflected your underlying thoughts.”

Duan Feihan’s icy voice replied back to him. “Doctor Ji. I feel that you wish to receive your last paycheck from me.”

Ji Shuo: ?

Soon after, the call was disconnected.

Could he possibly have complicated thoughts about his nephew’s female classmate in his subconscious mind?

Since Duan Feihan had woken up, his dream naturally would not exist anymore.

After Bai Chuwei finished visiting the future villain’s nightmare, Liu Zhen finally went to sleep.

On usual occasions, everyone accommodated his whims and those from the medical field respectfully addressed him as Master Liu. However, the moment he saw Bai Chuwei, his tears were about to start flowing.

This ancestor’s temper was really unpredictable.

She had clearly mentioned that she would not let his deceased teacher visit him in his dream anymore. But in the end, she came herself!

Liu Zhen glanced at Bai Chuwei and immediately knelt before her and cried. “Dear Ancestor, this old man has really understood his mistakes!”

Bai Chuwei shot him a glance and lazily said, “I’ve cultivated for thousands of years and I’m not fond of killing. I’m also not interested in your petty life.”

Thousands of years…

Liu Zhen really wished that he could give himself a tight slap. To think he had provoked an ancestor!

After which, he nervously asked about Bai Chuwei’s intentions.

“I’ll impart one of the Spiritual Thirteen Needle techniques to you, and you shall treat that old man Duan. Remember to be ruthless when you insert the needles.”

Liu Zhen was shocked, and moisture immediately flooded his eyes, resulting in tears and snot mixing together on his face.

He had lived the past century in vain! He unfairly judged a noble person with his despicable mind, and thought that the ancestor came to teach him a lesson. But it turned out that she came here to impart medical skills to him!

The Spiritual Thirteen Needles… it was a skill that many were unable to learn even if they begged for it. However, the ancestor was unexpectedly willing to impart the skill to him.

“Your disciple here accepts your command and will definitely study hard.”

As Liu Zhen was rather old, there were many apprentices in the medicine hall who stayed with him.

In the middle of the night, those apprentices woke up due to Liu Zhen’s movements. They came to his room and saw him crying, smiling, and drooling…
