Chapter 162: Chapter 159: Doomsday



[3rd POV]

It was a few days later when it finally happened. Talia had been doing her most recent test of the cure for cancer, and after tens of hours of work, tens of thousands if her clones were included, she had finally done it, as she stared at the words "Success Rate 100%".

Reading the words, Talia watched as the cancerous cells that were previously killing the body, were eliminated, as she had finally done it...she had found the cure for cancer. Thousands of tests, experimental alien and magical technologies, and all sorts of other technologies all combined, all for this one cure, a cure that would take millions.

"Ha...hahahahaha!" Talia burst out laughing gleefully as she looked at the results, loudly. So loudly that the girls soon found themselves in the lab, concerned looks on their faces.

"Talia? Is everything okay?" Kara asked, only to let out a squeal as she was twirled around by a grinning Talia. Confusion amongst the girls grew, only for Hope to glance at the screen that Talia had been looking at, only to gasp as she read it.

"Talia, you-did you-?" "I did" Talia said with a grin as she put Kara down, the girl's eyes widened dramatically in realization at what she had been talking about. She had done it, Talia had found the cure for cancer, and all within a few months of work, hard word, and the work of dozens of clones working at all hours.

She had done something that the entire human race had been working towards for decades, within months. She had done something that took the work of hundreds of thousands, all by herself, with only a lab and a few test subjects. An accomplishment that would change the world.

"You're amazing" Kara said genuinely, kissing Talia deeply. Before Talia could even reply, Hope took her lips in her own, with Isabelle going after, and Clary being the last of them to passionately kiss her.

"Mmhmm, I know" Talia replied with a low sigh, causing them to roll their eyes with small smiles on their faces.

"How are you going to distribute it? You know that not everyone is going to be so accepting of the cure, especially the anti vaxxers and the other people who think like that" Clary asked, which Talia just shrugged.

"Simple, I'll just not tell them. I've made the cure in the form of a shot for a reason, love. It's so I can easily just inject them, heal the wound, and then move on, as if I was never even there in the first place. It'll be easy enough, and as long as I make a few thousand clones, I can probably get it done in a couple days. The only downside is that I need to make a living shit load of injections" Talia replied.

The injections themselves wouldn't take long to make, it was just the sheer amount of them that was annoying. She'd need to make thousands of clones to mass produce them, and do it all within her personal dimension. If all went well, then she'd have it all done within a couple more days of work.

"I'll focus on those who are currently suffering from the disease, of course. And if I have to, I plan on doing one of them publicly as Solaris, just so people don't go crazy over trying to figure out who did it" Talia added, causing the girls to nod slowly, understanding why.

"How long do you think it'll take?" Isabelle asked.

"Hmm, probably a few days. I'll mass produce a couple thousand clones and have them get to work on it. And once we get back to Kara's Earth, I'll be doing the same there" Talia replied. Kara couldn't stop the wide smile from forming on her face at the answer, happy that the people of her Earth would no longer have to suffer from cancer.

"For now though? Let's just relax and watch a movie"

It was later in the day, and Talia was sitting at the couch, the girls asleep around her as she watched a movie. She had been enjoying the past few hours watching movies with her girlfriends enjoying her time off today, as she didn't have any reporter work today. And since she was officially done with the cure, she decided on the break. It was late into the day, towards the night.

Besides watching some movies, having some makeout sessions, and cooking, Talia had relaxed the entire day while also thinking over what to do once they went back to Earth 38.

She planned on starting up her own company, one that dealt in medicine, technology, robotics, and various other areas. And now that she had the permanent cure for colds, fevers, etc, she'd make incredible amounts of money off of that. The cure for cancer would be another matter, and something she'd have to be a little careful with.

She also would recruit a bulk of her citizens from there, mostly aliens like Daxamites. What species she recruited mattered entirely on what species there even were to recruit from. Metahumans was another area of people she could recruit from, but it mattered on their individual situations.

As Talia continued to contemplate the future, she stilled. 'That...' Talia gazed into the far distance, as she shot to her feet, a serious look in her eyes.

*Yawn* "T-Talia? What's wrong?" Kara muttered with a yawn, as she looked to Talia who got to her feet.

Turning to Kara, Talia softly smiled "Nothing, darling. I just need to go out for a bit, go back to sleep, alright?" Talia softly said, causing Kara to let out a small mumble, before leaning back and falling right back to sleep.

Chuckling at her girlfriend, Talia turned her gaze, as she watched a creature...no, a monster crash through Clark's barn.

...Doomsday had arrived. And so had the quest involved with him.

Walking out of the door with a small exhale, Talia glowed as her suit surrounded her, and within the next moment, she disappeared with a blur of speed.

In Smallville

Screams of fear shattered the warm atmosphere of the town, an atmosphere created from the meteor shower that they were supposed to watch, and Kyle Cushing proposing to Chrissy. Kyle was Lana's ex husband but they broke up after she found out he had been cheating on her. The reason why he proposed to Chrissy, was because she was pregnant with his child.

The screams of fear were because of one thing, and thing only. A large, hulking monster that was previously the Inverse Worlds Superman, the monster known as...Doomsday. Standing across from the creature was Superman, who had a serious look on his face. As every instinct within his body was screaming that this creature was dangerous, more than anything he had ever fought in all his years of living. A creature made specifically to kill him, and a creature that wouldn't stop until it did.

Clark's family looked at the creature in fear, as he held his hand out, stopping any of them from getting closer. Before he or the creature could race off to battle, everyone stopped, as a golden gleam began to radiate from the skies above.

The entirety of Smallville was illuminated with the warmth of the sun, as the golden glow grew closer, and to their awe, the form of Solaris began to slowly be revealed. But that...that

was not all.

Several more illuminating lights began to streak across the sky, as they watched more and more of Talia's clones begin to converge on the town, over 100 in total floated in the skies

around the real Talia.

"Tha-That's all of her clones" Lois whispered in awe, as for the first time ever, all clones of Solaris were in one place, at the same time.

And soon, that wasn't all, as the clones began to glow, before bursting into light. That light slowly flooded back into Talia, as all their power returned to her, flooding her being, alongside more knowledge.

"Leave this to me, Superman. Trust me on this one" Solaris's powerful voice sounded out, causing Clark to look at her before slowly nodding, as he heard the seriousness in Talia's tone. And without waiting even a second, Solaris blurred from her location, and in a flash of light,

disappeared alongside Doomsday.

[Far Far away, in another galaxy]

*RAAORRRRRRRRR*

Doomsday roared loudly as it stared her down, after being teleported far away from Earth.

"... You are quite the ugly thing, aren't you? But...that doesn't matter anymore, all that matters...is that we battle" Talia said with a small grin beginning to form on her face. She limited the energies within her, as with a grin, she blurred to Doomsday, as her first launched out, slamming against the creatures faee, obliterating it with the full force of her strength. Talia watched with interest as the creature stalled shortly, before rapidly regenerating, as he slowly adapted. The adaption of his was... powerful. For whatever killed him, wouldn't be able to do it again, granting him immunity to that form of death. He would also grow stronger the longer they fight, and can adapt to practically anything. Basically, the perfect sparring partner

for Talia, and an even more perfect weapon.

*KRACKOOM*

It's fist launched out at Talia, only to be pushed back by her own punch, launching the creature back through the planet's surface with a crash. She continued her onslaught against the creature with blurred fists, grinning as she felt the punches do less and less damage against the creature, and his own strength increasing more and more. "Cmon big guy, give me a fight!" Talia grinned out, as her dragon blood was pounding in her veins, excited at the prospect of finally having a real battle after so very long.

*SCROOOOOOOAR*

The creature boomed towards her with a roar, as his fist launched at her, launching her back

through a sand dune, as he landed his first proper blow against her. A blow that did absolutely zero damage against her. But the fact that he had adapted so much, and so quickly, showed just how incredibly monstrous the creatures adaption truly was. Certainly better than her own adaption from Godzilla, that was for sure.

As their battle continued, Talia found herself getting pushed back more and more, as Doomsdays punches grew stronger and stronger. But at the same time, Talia grinned happily

as her own strength increased. The world around them was shaking from each blow, as the sandy dune was obliterated from the mere shockwaves of their blows. Neither of them used anything but their strength and hand to hand combat, and Talia was

enjoying every moment of it. As for the first time in so very long, she had a genuine foe in front of her, even if it was only a challenge because she was limiting herself. With every blow and strike, Talia could find herself growing closer to something...new. She

could feel it deep in her bones as the world rattled at their strikes, and her instincts showed clear as she ignored the slight blood that trickled from her arm, the first proper injury the creature had given her, even after she had killed it over a dozen times now.

She wasn't sure what it was that she was growing close to, but it was powerful, whatever it

was.

"You're pretty good, aren't you big guy!" Taila said with a grin as the monster just roared in response, as it seemingly grew annoyed with her. Her own adaption allowing her to keep up with his strength increases. She wasn't even sure how big of an increase it was at this point,

but whatever it was, it was massive, and rapidly growing stronger and stronger, just as it was

for Rias.

Her bones rattled as she blocked another strike, and was launched back. But before the creature could land another, she rotated out of the way and threw her own punch that launched it back with a growl.

As she was about to blur back into the battle, she stopped as she glanced at her phone which had several texts and calls, mostly from the girls, but also from Clark and Lois.

'Ah shit...I was having fun too!' Talia thought with a pout, knowing that it was time to end

this. Mostly so she didn't worry her beloved mates, and also because she'd rather not make

them mad at her.n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om

"Seems I've got to end this big guy, and for that, I am sorry" Talia said with a sigh, as a golden ripple opened behind her, and before Doomsday could even react, chains shot out and surrounded the creature, chains created specifically for this monster and made of the strongest metals she had, several layers of runes, and coated in special liquids to make it even

stronger. Walking forward, she sighed as her arm began to glow, her hand gripping the monster by it's

head as it tried and failed to attack her "I hope you rest in peace, Clark" Talia said with a soft

look in her eyes, as her arm began to glow brilliantly, and she began to absorb a power that she wanted so very badly....the adaption of Doomsday himself. An adaption that would make her truly unkillable in everything but the soul.

Slowly the creature began to shatter into pieces, as it began to fall apart. A singular tear escaped it's eye as it disintegrated into nothingness. Leaving only Talia, who let out a breath

as she felt the adaption begin to work it's magic.

Her battle with Doomsday was...a little anticlimactic, but I am awful at fight scenes, and Talia couldn't keep her girls waiting. She now has the adaptation of doomsday, which has fused with her current adaption, boosting it to some crazy levels. She'll be abusing this very soon.
