Urban God-level Youth

Chapter 47: Chapter 49 Li Bao's Request

```
Jiangshan Roasted Duck Restaurant could now produce at most a thousand roasted ducks per day.
Any more than that would exceed the current capacity of the roasted duck restaurant.
However, the fatty had just ordered two rather large duck roasting ovens, and once they arrived, the production capacity of the restaurant would be even higher.
Revenue was also expected to increase, and he was very much looking forward to this month's revenue, which was going to be an astonishing figure.
By a little after six in the evening, he returned home where Qin Youguo and Li Shujie had already arrived.
Mrs. Qin saw him come back and asked curiously, "Xiao Hao, why did you come back so late today?"
"Mom, I found a summer job today, working at the Jiangshan Roasted Duck Restaurant. They said they'd pay me three thousand a month."
Qin Youguo asked curiously, "Is the job there tiring? You're still in school, don't wear yourself out."
His father usually had a stern expression, but Qin Hao could feel that his father's love for him was in no way less than his mother's, and perhaps even more.
But he did not seek for his son to know it, even if his son did not understand.
Perhaps this was the greatness of paternal love.
Qin Hao said with a smile, "It's fine, Dad, not too tiring."
Qin Youguo, "Hmm, as long as it's not tiring that's good, work hard and it'll toughen you up."
And so, Qin Hao went to the roasted duck restaurant during the day, and would return after six in the evening.
On the 15th of June.
Inside Jiangshan Roasted Duck Restaurant.
Qin Hao was looking at the account books when Li Bao walked in with four people.
Upon seeing this, Yu Jie turned her head towards Qin Hao, "Boss, you have visitors."
Qin Hao lifted his head, saw Li Bao holding a backpack, and he walked over, "Hao, can I have a word with you?"
Qin Hao handed the account book to Yu Jie, then headed upstairs.
He led Li Bao and the others into the fatty's office on the second floor, and Li Bao entered while Wang Hong and the four others stood guard outside.
Once inside the room, Li Bao opened the briefcase, revealing stacks of cash.
He began, "Hao, here's the money we collected, this is your share."
Qin Hao shook his head, "I don't need money right now. You keep it and do something legitimate. Lead those brothers away from that path. After all, what you're doing can't last, and if you're not careful, you might even end up in prison."
Li Bao was stunned for a moment. To be honest, he admired Qin Hao's audacity. To decline an offer of over two hundred thousand yuan without even blinking an eye.
At the same time, he was pondering what Qin Hao had said. He knew Qin Hao was right—it probably was time to extricate himself before getting in too deep.
He looked at Qin Hao and asked, "Hao, there's a bar on Yonghe Street up for sale, should I buy it?"
"Running that would be pretty good for you, but just remember there are some lines you can't cross," Qin Hao advised him.
Li Bao nodded, "Hao, there's actually another reason I came to see you today."
"What is it?"
Li Bao, "Liu Jianming from Fubang Real Estate Company asked me for help."
Qin Hao's eyebrows furrowed slightly, "What kind of help did he ask for?"
Li Bao, "He said his rival hired Wang Kun from Anchang Street to get back at him, and he wants me to mediate."
Wang Kun from Anchang Street?
He remembered hearing this name before, but couldn't recall where precisely.
Qin Hao asked him, "What do you plan to do?"
Li Bao explained, "I've met Wang Kun a few times. I've arranged to meet them at noon today to settle this matter, but I'm worried I won't be able to handle those guys, so I was hoping you, Hao, could step in."
"Alright, I'll come with you later."
...
Eleven o'clock at noon.
```

Qin Hao arrived at the Jinshan Hotel in Li Bao's car.

The Jinshan Hotel is a four-star hotel in Changle District and probably the best one there.

After getting out of the car and entering the hotel, Li Bao said something to the attendant, who then led them upstairs.

They took the elevator to room 801 on the eighth floor.

Li Bao told the attendant, "Go on down for now, we will order once everyone has arrived."

The waitress nodded slightly and turned to leave.

Standing at the door of the private room were Wang Hong and three others, intimidating the waitress, who then stood aside.

About ten minutes later, a slightly overweight middle-aged man walked in.

Upon seeing him, Li Bao stood up and said, "Mr. Liu is here, this is Hao."

Liu Jianming, looking at Qin Hao and smiling broadly, reached out his hand and said, "I've long heard of Hao's great reputation, and seeing you today, I can say the praise was well-deserved."

"You flatter me, Mr. Liu, please take a seat," Qin Hao replied, shaking his hand.

Liu Jianming sat down next to Li Bao and said apologetically, "I'm really putting you out today, Hao."

Qin Hao replied, "Mr. Liu, be prepared to bleed a bit too."

"As long as the problem is solved, I don't mind." Liu Jianming was genuinely scared.

Because Wang Kun from Anchang Street was too infamous.

This man had been jailed for intentional assault before, and it hadn't been long since he was released.

His ruthlessness was unmatched even by Li Bao, as Wang Kun used to really go at people with a knife.

It is said that he has more than one life on his hands, just that the police haven't found the evidence.

It was just past eleven-thirty.

A middle-aged man with a face covered in horizontal scars and wearing a black vest walked in.

He had a dragon tattoo over his shoulder and a long scar, sinister and terrifying, on his right arm.

Following him was a middle-aged man in a suit.

The two did not speak and simply found a place to sit down.

Li Bao stood up and with a smile said, "Kun, this is Mr. Liu from Fubang Real Estate Company, and this is Hao."

Wang Kun glanced at Qin Hao and said with a laugh, "Li Bao, you're kidding me, bringing a kid whose hair hasn't fully grown in to mess with me?"

Li Bao furrowed his eyebrows upon hearing this, glanced at Qin Hao, unsure how to respond to Wang Kun's words.

Qin Hao, sensing Wang Kun's contempt, said to Li Bao, "Introduce me to the person next to him."

"That's Mr. Wang Guanding from Guanding Real Estate Company," Li Bao introduced.

Wang Guanding was a middle-aged man, balding, with a chubby face and large ears.

He glanced at Qin Hao without the slightest intention of greeting him.

Qin Hao looked at Wang Guanding and said, "Does Mr. Wang have some misunderstanding with Mr. Liu?"

Wang Guanding replied, "Indeed, there has been a misunderstanding. Liu Jianming cursed me behind my back in front of others, who wouldn't be able to tolerate this?"

All this over trivial matters?

Qin Hao was somewhat speechless; in his view, it was just petty squabbling.

But for people like Liu Jianming and Wang Guanding, it was a serious matter of losing face, which necessitated teaching the other a lesson.

Qin Hao spoke up, "My purpose in inviting everyone here was to help resolve this issue, Mr. Wang, tell us, how would you like to settle this matter?"

Wang Guanding clapped his hands, and a waitress walked in.

He said to the attendant, "Bring three bottles of Moutai."

After the waitress left and quickly returned with the liquor, placing it on the table and then exiting.

Looking at Liu Jianming, Wang Guanding said, "Since Hao has brought it up, I have to give Hao some face. If you, Liu Jianming, can finish these three bottles of liquor, we'll consider the matter resolved."
