Chapter 198 - A Taste Alone Won't Be Enough
His lips were now a deeper shade of pink with the bruise from earlier even more prominent marking Rui Fei's territory. Such a sultry image was enough to drive a sane person mad and now such a look was done in the presence of a hungry beast. How was Rui Fei supposed to control himself?
He swallowed his saliva as he closed his eyes to calm himself down. He let out a long breath of air before saying, "Yao-ge, if we do this then we do this all the way. A taste alone won't be enough. I won't be able to control myself."
As soon as he said this he regretted it. He should have just let this happen as they should but based on Ji Yao's personality he would be banging his head against the wall tomorrow filled with remorse.
As expected Ji Yao regained a little of his sanity as he got off Rui Fei. He obediently sat down with his back straight feeling a little embarrassed. If you ask him now what happened, he wouldn't be able to answer.
It was as though his rational mind shut down as his emotions took over. And who could blame him? All these years he couldn't touch anyone else and when he found that one person he couldn't help himself.
Feeling rather disappointed, Rui Fei got up with a loud sigh trying to attract Ji Yao's attention but Ji Yao didn't react. His Yao-ge was unconsciously rubbing his lower lip with his thumb lost in thought. It was as though that kiss had made his soul fly off into space.
Rui Fei took a piece of fruit from the decorated platter of assorted fruits and sent it to Ji Yao's lips jolting him awake. Ji Yao looked at the fruit brushing against his swollen lips then swept his gaze past Rui Fei who was still smiling despite all that.
Ji Yao subconsciously licked his lip before moving forward to take a bite with their gazes locked together. The smile on Rui Fei's face grew wider as Ji Yao took a nibble. He moved his hand back and put the other half of the fruit in his mouth.
As he chewed on that sweet succulent piece of fruit Ji Yao tried to come up with some kind of apology for what happened earlier but Rui Fei didn't even give him an opportunity to apologize.
Rui Fei picked a kiwi fruit shaped like a generic flower and fed Ji Yao again as he asked, "What were you thinking about before I walked in."
Ji Yao didn't speak for a while thoroughly enjoying the tasty fruit Rui Fei personally fed him. "Getting the next keystone..... it's too risky."
Rui Fei who was staring at the pieces of fruits as though trying to decide which one to feed Ji Yao next paused as he turned to look at him. "Are you afraid something bad will happen?" he asked with his clean hand reaching over to hold Ji Yao's.
Ji Yao looked down at the fingers interlacing with his and he couldn't help but gulp. This kid's strategy to capture a man's heart was incredibly effective. He was like a prescribed drug that could easily get one addicted before they even know it. By the time they realise something is up it would have already been too late.
Ji Yao gently squeezed his fingers as he replied, "I am prepared to venture into that place but... I am afraid something terrible might happen to you. That's why I don't want you to go."
Before he even finished saying that Rui Fei was already shaking his head. There was no way he was letting Ji Yao go in there without him. If he dies in there then they die together.
Ji Yao tried to convince him further but Rui Fei was as stubborn as an ox. "If anything happens to you I won't be able to forgive myself. Please listen to me just this once," said Ji Yao but who was he kidding. Rui Fei wouldn't listen.
He tightened his grip on Ji Yao's hand and moved a little closer before whispering into his ear saying, "You really don't get it, do you Yao-ge? When I said I like you I meant it and I will follow you where ever you go..... so don't you dare think for a second that you can leave me behind."
His voice sounded the same but there was something in his tone that caused a tremor in Ji Yao's heart. For the first time ever since they started this ambiguous relationship, he felt like a cornered prey about to get slaughtered.
That husky charming voice sent an electrifying feeling all over his body. His body that had just calmed down was suddenly filled with vigour mixed in with fear of what Rui Fei would do to him in bed.
When he realised his filthy line of thought he lightly pushed Rui Fei away. As though waking from a shameful dream he attempted to get up while saying, "You should go..... it's already this late."
Rui Fei refused to let go of his hand preventing him from leaving. Feeling a little aggrieved he said, "Ah, Yao-ge... I fed you but you didn't even feed me..... not even once. See I brought fruit for you and meat for me so we could feed each other but who knew Yao-ge would be so mean?"
"I already fed you enou-," said Ji Yao before shutting his mouth.
A mischievous smile appeared on Rui Fei's face as he lowered his voice asking, "Fed me what?... Yao-ge, what exactly did you feed me?"
Two minutes later....
BAM!
"Ah, Yao-ge, I forgot my snacks!" said Rui Fei who for the second time today was standing outside the captain's cabin after being kicked out.
The locked door suddenly made a clicking sound before it opened. Rui Fei took a step forward thinking he could sneak past Ji Yao but he couldn't. Ji Yao placed a platter full of meat in his hand and a pillow in the other.
He took the best cut in the platter and fed Rui Fei with a sly grin. Rui Fei looked like a cute pup on Instagram with a bone in his mouth. "You can sleep in my cabin, okay? Now good night," said Ji Yao before kissing Rui Fei's cheek and shutting the door.
For twenty seconds Rui Fei stood there foolishly staring at the door with a sweet smile. The radiant smile stayed on his face till he turned to leave. But as he turned his body the smile on his face vanished when he saw Xiaoyu standing there glaring at him.
She looked like a viper ready to strike down its enemy. How much did she see? If she saw all of it then how far did she want to take this?
