Chapter 67: Julius Isn't My Blood Brother
Laying on the bed, Lucian was gently brushing Isabella's silky blue hair as she lay naked next to him, her head on his chest.
The soft strands flowed like water through his fingers, catching the late afternoon sunlight that filtered through the ornate windows.
Each strand seemed to shimmer with an otherworldly glow.
Isabella's breath came in soft, contented sighs, her body warm against his.
The curve of her hip, visible beneath the thin silk sheet, rose and fell with each breath.
Her skin, pale as moonlight, bore a faint sheen of perspiration.
As Lucian's fingers continued gently, Isabella suddenly looked up.
"Lucian?" Isabella murmured softly, her azure eyes gazing up at him with a mixture of contentment and curiosity.
"Hmm... What is it? Do you want more?" He said with a teasing smile, his hand under the silk cupping her soft boobs.
His fingers traced lazy circles around her nipple, feeling it stiffen under his touch.
Flick~~ Aahh~!
Isabella shivered at his caress, a soft gasp escaping her lips. She pressed herself closer to him, her skin warm and silky against his.
"No, it's not that," she whispered, her breath hot against his chest, "It was about what happened in your absence."
Lucian's hand stilled, his expression growing more serious, "Oh! What about it? What had happened?"
Isabella propped herself up on one elbow, her blue hair cascading over her shoulders like a waterfall.
The late afternoon sunlight caught the strands of her hair, making them shimmer with an almost ethereal light.
"Three days ago, two young men about your age had come to the Empire. Only father, Julius and I know of their visit. It was as if Father didn't want anyone else to find out about them.
They... one of them used some kind of weird mirror to check..." Isabella's voice trailed off, her brow furrowing as she recalled the strange event.
Lucian's hand resumed its gentle caress, encouraging her to continue. The silk sheets rustled softly as he shifted, his crimson eyes fixed intently on Isabella's face.
"When he held it up," Isabella said, her voice filled with wonder, "It was as if I could see myself, but... different. There was this... glow about me in the mirror, like something hidden. It was my first time seeing something so magical."
Lucian listened intently, his fingers absently tracing patterns on Isabella's bare skin.
She paused, her gaze distant as if reliving the moment, "They said I have cultivation talent and that I could become like them, beyond mortal people, and maybe even live for centuries."
Isabella's eyes sparkled with excitement as she continued, her voice barely above a whisper, "Although I didn't know what cultivation is, whether what they said was true or not, but when they said that you'll also come with me, I agreed to join their... What was that... huh yes... Azure Sword sect."
Lucian's eyebrows raised, his interest piqued. He gently brushed a stray lock of hair from Isabella's face, encouraging her to elaborate.
"They also said this place is nothing but a small island," she added, her voice tinged with disbelief.
"Our Empire is already so vast, and I haven't even set foot in the other Empires," she murmured, shaking her head in amazement, "Yet they say it's nothing compared to what's out there... can you believe that?"
With each word, her excitement seemed to spill over, like a river breaking its banks.
'It appeared that the Azure Sword sect was the second group present in this island. Seems like they already guessed who killed those guys!
So were they looking to recruit me? But why did they suddenly take an interest in Isabella? Am I overthinking this or is there some hidden motive behind their actions?', Lucian silently mused on these thoughts.
"Lucian, what do you think? Do you want to go?" Isabella asked, her eyes shining with excitement and a hint of uncertainty.
"How do you know if they were telling the truth?" Lucian asked, his hands gently kneading Isabella's soft asscheek.
The silky smoothness of her skin contrasted with the firm roundness beneath his fingers.
Isabella shivered at his touch, pressing herself closer to him.
"I... I didn't believe it either at first," she admitted, her breath warm against his chest.
"But when they left, father told me they weren't lying," she continued, her voice dropping to a whisper, "He even said that his elder brother is a disciple of the Azure Sword sect. So uncle will surely take care of us."
Lucian's eyes narrowed slightly as he leaned forward, his voice calm but full of curiosity.
"Uncle? Didn't he kill all his siblings? And a disciple of the Azure Sword sect at that?" He paused, his gaze probing for any sign of deceit.
Isabella blinked, "I... I'm not sure. He didn't tell me anything more."
"Did he say what's his status within the sect?"
She shook her head, eyes lowering, "No... But father said that if we're in trouble, he would send someone from the sect to help us."
Lucian's gaze grew sharper, a glint of something darker flickering in his crimson eyes, "How interesting."
She suddenly frowned, "But you don't look surprised? Did you already know?!"
Lucian let out a mock sigh, running a hand through her hair.
"Know? N-no, not a clue. It's just..." He gestured to his face with a wry smile, "This face of mine... it's tragically bad at expressing shock. Inside, I'm practically gasping with excitement. Trust me!"
Her expression suddenly shifted, a hint of mischief lighting up her eyes, "I guess... also to encourage me further into joining them, he said he would break off my engagement."
Isabella's fingers danced playfully around Lucian's nipples teasingly.
Isabella only knew Lucian, just like herself, had the innate talent for cultivation, but didn't know Lucian had already killed such people.
She leaned in closer, her breath warm against his face.
"Now we'll be together," she murmured, her voice sultry, "You can f*ck your sister's p*ssy whenever you want."
With a sly smile, she pressed her naked body against him, her warmth enveloping him like a cocoon.
'Well, before leaving I was about to kill that little prince anyway, but now that the engagement is off...' Lucian couldn't help but think, as his hands responded by slowly rubbing Isabella's swollen clit.
Flick~ Ohh~ rub~ Aahh~
Isabella gasped, her breath hitching as waves of pleasure coursed through her. Her eyes fluttered shut, and a soft moan slipped from her lips,
"What about Julius?" Lucian suddenly asked, his mind racing with possibilities.
If those Azure Sword sect disciples could have guessed that he was the one who had killed thoss Body Strengthening Realm cultivators. Surely, they must be aware of Julius joining the Crimson Sky sect, right?
Isabella fell silent for a moment, her brow furrowing in thought.
Lucian, sensing her hesitation, gently pinched her already hardened clit, eliciting a soft moan from her lips.
"Ah... Julius," she gasped, arching her back slightly at his touch, "That f*cker... he isn't here anymore. He seemed to have fled from the Empire."
"Father even sent people to find him, but it's like he vanished into thin air."
Lucian's fingers continued their teasing, tracing lazy circles around her wet hole as he processed this information.
He was already preparing to deal with Julius. After all, it was Julius who had orchestrated the assassination attempt, sending those Body Strengthening Realm cultivators to kill him.
If it hadn't been for Lucian's exceptional physique, he might very well have become a lifeless corpse by now, a pawn in someone else's game.
With now Drake's death, only Julius remained.
But now, the situation seemed increasingly complex.
He was almost certain that Julius had fled to the safety of the Crimson Sky sect, probably seeking refuge among their ranks.
The thought ignited a simmering anger within Lucian, a desire to drag Julius from the shadows and make him pay.

"Wait, unlike me, isn't Julius your blood brother?" he asked, his tone laced with intrigue, "Why do you speak about him with such disdain? You sound almost disgusted."
Isabella leaned in closer, her voice dropping to a whisper as if afraid someone might overhear their conversation.
"Julius isn't my blood brother," she replied, her eyes flashing with disgust,"My mother only has me; he isn't the Empress's son."
"WHAT?" Lucian exclaimed, surprise breaking through his usual composure.
"Hehe... I accidentally overheard my mother saying this one day," Isabella said, a mischievous spark lighting her eyes.
"I don't why but she didn't want to have another child with the Emperor, so father chose Julius instead, who was only a concubine's child.
He has the same hair and eye color as father, after all. Everyone will think the Julius is the Empress's son.
He also killed that woman to hide the truth and proclaimed Julius as his and mother's second child, making him the Crown Prince.
Of course Julius is unaware of the truth; I only happened to overhear mother discussing it."
