Apocalypse Cheater

Chapter 231: First Time Hunting

[: 3rd POV :]

"Just relax and think of it as a game''

Sasha muttered as she slowly approached the goblins with her dagger pointed towards them.

She was ready to attack anytime and although she was nervous, she was adamant in changing herself.

Once she had closed the distance, she waited for an opportunity.

'Now!'

Once she got the chance, she dashed towards one of the goblins.

However, she had miscalculated as the other goblin had noticed her and it ran towards her.

But before it could get near her, Sasha's eyes were keen and she reacted quickly.

Without the goblin knowing, a slash was seen coming from her hand.

The goblin was too slow to dodge and eventually, its neck was slit and blood sprayed out.

Its expression had changed from shock to regret, but in the end, the life within its eyes was gone.

Eventually, its lifeless body dropped to the ground.

"It's a success!"

Sasha couldn't help but exclaimed and there was a spark of happiness in her eyes.

"It looks like this won't be too difficult''

But the celebration for happiness had ended as she rushed towards the other goblin.

"I have to take this one down quickly and then I'll kill the next"

With the eyes of a natural killer, Sasha slashed at the goblin's body with her dagger, cutting open a deep gash.

The goblin screamed and attempted to hit her with its club, but Sasha dodged the blow and cut its wrist, disarming it.

She then finished it off by slitting its throat.

[: You have killed Goblin Level 1 and have obtained 10 EXP :]

The fight was over in seconds and Sasha was victorious.

She had slain two goblins in a matter of minutes, a feat that was impossible for her to do.

Sasha has heard rumours that modern Fantasia had turned out to be a world that existed in different realms.

Hence, it would have been extremely difficult for her to kill a living being, let alone hold a knife.

She would have fainted just by seeing blood, yet, she was somehow standing still and killing monsters as though this wasn't her first time.

Even the wrist that she holds felt natural and familiar to her.

It was as though she had mastered it the moment she held the dagger.

Nevertheless, even though she finds it strange, it wasn't a bad progression.

In fact, she likes how she had no trouble killing or even hesitation.

"Wow, just wow"

She muttered in her mind as she looked at her knife.

"At this rate, I could kill hundreds of them easily"

She smiled and her mood had been lifted by the prospect of success.

"This is going to be a fun day" She exclaimed as she stretched her hands out.

As Sasha hunted goblins as much as she could, the day flew by in a flash and the sky was turning dark.

It was a signal to end her day.

On the other hand, Sasha, who had successfully killed 100 goblins, was happy.

She even had a wide smile on her face.

"This is great, I'm already level 10 and have obtained a total of 100 Stats Points"

She had spent the whole day killing goblins and her strength had increased.

Her speed was much faster than before and her movements were more agile.

She had also become more comfortable with using her dagger, which had greatly improved her fighting efficiency.

Due to all of the goblins she had killed, some blood had fainted her armour, and there was even a drop on her cheeks.

Yet at this point, she became even more charming and she was slowly starting to change.

"This is really a good start"

With her stats improving, Sasha was confident that she would be able to reach Level 20 within a week.

She knew that the higher the levels, the harder it is to increase.

But she didn't allow it to decrease her Morales, instead, she became even more fired up.

"Well, since I have already collected this many cores and drops, I could perhaps sell it for some money, and it's time for me to call it a day"

Looking at the results of her hunt, Sasha never thought it would be this easy to kill and even earn her own source of income.

She was slowly starting to believe that this path was meant for her.

Even so, it had been hours since she had hunted and Sasha decided to return after she had sold her drops.

However, all of a sudden, Sasha heard a growl.

"Grrr"

It was the sound of a monster, but it was louder than the goblin's growl.

Sasha, who was startled, turned her head and looked behind.

It was a Goblin Monster, except it was a mutated version.

"A Red Goblin!?"

Sasha, who was panicking, shouted out loud and her face was pale.

The reason why she had hunted goblins was because they were the only monsters that were low-level enough for her to hunt.

However, even she who had reached Level 10 was nervously panicking as the Red Goblin Level was 30.

Moreover, she could even feel the bloodlust emitting from the Red Golbin, and it terrified her greatly.

It was a realm that she couldn't hope to beat yet.

'I have to run!'

Her intuition was telling her to escape.

She can't afford to fight such a monster, and even if she tries, she'll lose.

'It's impossible'

Sasha was ready to run away, but the moment she made a footstep, she stopped.

"What am I doing...?" Sasha questioned herself.

"I thought I wanted to change myself? So why am I running away?"

She couldn't help but feel a sense of rebellion rising from her core.

"Isn't this exactly the same how I would have reacted before? How do I keep running away from my weakness or even the slightest mistake?"

"If I run away now, doesn't it prove that I'm still the same?"

She wasn't the same girl anymore and the new Sasha refused to back down.

The more she questioned herself, the more furious she became.

Sasha didn't have to run away and she could have chosen to log off.

Yet, she clenched her fist and stared at the Red Goblin.

She wanted to challenge the Red Goblin.

No, it wasn't the Red Goblin that she wanted to challenge, but the fear towards those who were stronger than her.

"I won't run, not anymore"

Sasha stood her ground and her eyes were filled with fire.

She can't afford to lose the will to fight, and no matter what happens, she isn't going to run away.

She doesn't have any clue or tactics to beat the Red Goblin and even the other players had returned hours ago.

Even so, Sasha wishes to push her limits.

At the same time, the Red Goblin, which was growling, had suddenly charged towards her.

Its speed was fast and was aiming towards her.

However, Sasha was ready and without a second to spare, she had jumped to the left, avoiding its attack.

Although she was able to dodge, the force of the Red Goblin's charge had sent her flying and she landed a few meters away.

"Cough, Cough"

Sasha had crashed onto the ground, and her back had felt a sharp pain.

"Aghh"

However, she bit her lips and endured it, but her face grimaced due to the impact.

As the Red Goblin continued its relentless attacks, Sasha did her best to avoid it, but her legs had become weak.

"Shit"

It was only a matter of time before her stamina would deplete and her movements were getting sluggish.

On the other hand, the Red Goblin had realised her condition and its attacks became more violent.

It swung its club and attempted to smash her, but Sasha, who was already fatigued, was unable to dodge the blow.

She was hit squarely on the abdomen and blood was seen gushing out.

"Argh"

Sasha cried in agony, and blood dripped from her mouth.

Her eyes had blurred and her mind was dizzy, but the Red Goblin didn't stop attacking.

"Damn"

With her current condition, the Red Goblin was already overwhelming her.

She was losing her strength, and the Red Goblin, which was twice her level, wasn't letting up.

'I'm not giving up yet'

Despite her situation, Sasha was still fighting.

Even though her body was aching, she still attempted to stab the Red Goblin.

Yet, the Red Goblin wasn't stupid and it smacked the dagger off her hand.

The force had fractured her wrist and a bone could be seen piercing through her flesh.

"Argh"

The pain was excruciating, but the Red Goblin wouldn't give her a break and it swung its club once again.

The blow was powerful, and this time, Sasha was sure that it would kill her.

But she wasn't ready to accept her death, and her will wasn't going to be shattered that easily.

"I'm not gonna give up, not yet, not until I'm dead"

In her last moments, Sasha attempted to move, but her body had already shut down.

At this moment, Daniel's eyes were connected with the shadow soldier hidden in her shadow, and he was frowning.

He was furious and he regretted letting Sasha push herself, and he wanted to kill the Red Goblin.

However, before Daniel could interrupt, he witnessed something that he had never seen within Sasha.

Sasha on her last breath muttered her last words.

"Ri... Ibbon...of...Fate..."
