Her Husband is My Lover

"Why are you here?" Valentine asked Xavier as she looked at him with her teary eyes.

"Why am I here? Why do you think I am here for?" Xavier asked.

"I don't know..." Valentina answered and Xavier suddenly hugged her tightly making her eyes wide. She was about to push him away but stopped in midway as he talked. 

"Thank you for giving a chance to Aunt Amelia." Xavier said making Valentina sigh in his arms.

"Thank you so much... She really deserves this chance!" Xavier said and being in his arms, she couldn't control herself and started crying in his arms.

"Shhh... I know, it's so hard for you she even now, it's so hard for you to be here because you didn't look back at this house again after you left this house... Coming here will be so hard for you but I am really so happy right now..." Xavier said as he cupped her face in his hands.

"I am tired of hating her..." Valentina replied and Xavier wiped off the tears away from her eyes as he nodded his head in yes.

"I know... I know you want someone behind you... To love you... You didn't know your mother's love from the day you were born... Suddenly, all this will be so hard for you..." Xavier said as he kissed her forehead not as a lover but as a best friend. He is here to tell her that he took a good decision. He came back to New York in the morning... He wanted to meet with Valentina as soon as he reached the airport but George held him saying he had something important deal to look after. As soon as he was done with the deal, he got a call from his mother Elizabeth in the evening telling him that, Valentina accepted Amelia and gave her a chance. He was shocked to hear that and wanted to know more about it and soon, he got here to see it but when he got here, he saw Jason. He is so angry with Jason because he is here having dinner with Valentina and Amelia. 

But he tried his best to control himself as he so badly wanted to talk with Valentina. 

"I... She... She told me that she kept me away all these years because she doesn't want me to get into any trouble with her husband..." Valentina said and Xavier nodded his head.

"It might be true, Val... Because no mother will keep her child away from herself... But Aunt Amelia did... Maybe, because your dad was not a good person..." Xavier replied and Valentina nodded her head.

"You are calling her mom?" Xavier asked and Valentina nodded her head in yes.

"I am so happy that you really gave her a chance... I didn't expect that you would come here... And talk with her... After all these years... It made me feel like it will be impossible for you to come here to give Aunt Amelia a chance but you did... I am really so happy!" Xavier said as he kissed her forehead.

"I... I... I have seen a few... Paintings on the wall..." Valentina replied making Xavier frown.

"Your dad does paint... You know right?" Xavier asked and Valentina nodded her head in yes.

"But... They are different..." Valentina answered making Xavier frown.

"Different?" Xavier asked.

"Yes... It's not like those paintings... We used to see him paint... These are different... These all resemble Family..." Valentina answered.

"Umm... I stopped coming to this house a long back ago... Those paintings were not there... When you used to live here?" Xavier asked and Valentina shook her head in no.

"No... Those paintings were different..." Valentina answered.

"Maybe... Your mom might have changed them?" Xavier asked and Valentina nodded her head in yes.

"Maybe... But... Why does he paint about family? A wife, a husband, a child?" Valentina asked and Xavier shrugged.

"I don't know... I never saw him paint them... Maybe... You might find out more in his art room?" Xavier asked and Valentina nodded her head.

Xavier cupped her face in his hands and looked into her eyes making her look into his bloodshot eyes.

"You didn't have a good sleep?" Valentina asked.

"Do you really think, I will have a good sleep not talking with you?" Xavier asked.

"Xavier, I think... I think..." Valentina stuttered looking into his eyes.

"You think what, Valentina?" Xavier asked.

"I think, it would be good... If we are away from each other..." Xavier cut off Valentina in mid-sentence.

"No... Don't say that..." Xavier replied making Valentina's eyes teary.

"You know how much I love you right? I don't understand what is the meaning of being away from each other right now?" Xavier asked.

"It means, you and I are no more... It's done..." Valentina answered as a tear falls down from her eyes and Xavier shook his head in no.

"No... Don't tell that... You and I have dreams about each other... Don't those 9 years of relationship mean nothing to you right now?" Xavier asked.

"It does... But I don't think, it is anymore for you!" Valentina answered.

"I am really sorry for what I did... What I am doing and what I am going to do... But, begin away from each other means, I am no longer will be myself... Just give me some time, I will sort out everything... You and I will have a bright future... Please... All our dreams that we dreamed together... I want them to come true..." Xavier said with his teary eyes and Valentina shook her head in no.

"No... If you love me then you wouldn't marry Rose in the first place... I didn't ask you the reason why you married her so suddenly... Did I?" Valentina asked and Xavier shook his head in no.

"Didn't I trust you, when you told me that you are not going to reveal about your wedding to the world anytime soon?" Valentina asked and Xavier nodded his head.

"Did I ever force you for anything?" Valentina asked and Xavier shook his head in no.

"Then why did you do this to me?" Valentina asked looking into his eyes and Xavier looked away from her. 

"Looking away from me will not give me answers from you, Xavier... I trusted you... I believed you... But you... You are just betraying me... Do you still want me to trust you?" Valentina asked making a tear falls from Xavier's eyes. 

"I am sorry!" Xavier answered.

"Sorry?" Valentina asked and Xavier nodded his head.

"I want to make you and Rose away... I was so hell adamant about breaking your relationship... Because I love you... You getting it... I love you!" Valentina said as she held his collar.

"I love you too, Valentina..." Xavier replied looking into her eyes.

"Then why are you doing this to me?" Valentina asked, shouted a little... But still, Jason couldn't be able to hear it.

"I will tell you... I will tell you everything when the time comes... But now, I can't..." Xavier said.

"You will hate me if I tell you now... Or even worse... You will go away from me... I can't do that... I want you no matter what!" Xavier said as he held her in his arms.

"Xavier, no matter what... Listen to me carefully... I love you. And no matter what, I love you... Nothing is important to me than you... You mattered to me. You are important to me... Not only now... In the past, you mattered and important to me... You are my first priority... You are my first love... You are the one I shared everything to date... You know me so well... It doesn't matter to me with whatever the secrets you are keeping away from me not lose me... I can just feel that you want me as much as I want you... But I don't want to be your mistress... I am so better than that." Valentina replied as tears started falling down from her eyes. 

"I just don't want that ugly name to get on me..." Valentina said with tears as her legs gave up and she was about to fall down on her knees when Xavier held her tightly by her waist and looked into her eyes.

"I know, Love..." Xavier replied as he made her look into her eyes.

"You deserve better... Better than me... And I am not going to leave you... Even though, you deserve better than me... I will make you mine no matter what. And I know, you will not love anyone other than me... Because I know and I trust this heart of yours... I know your heart more than you... And that heart of yours is screaming, letting me knows that you are mine... Only mine! And I know... You will only be mine... No matter what!" Xavier said making Valentina push him away making him stumble back a few steps away. 

"Get lost..." Valentina said making Xavier look at her.

"Get lost..." Valentina said.

"Don't make me scream... I said, get lost..." Valentina said and Xavier nodded his head.

"Alright... But just remember that I am not going to leave you alone... When I know that you still love me! I will be back to you... Very soon!" Xavier replied and turned around and walked away from there...
