Her Husband is My Lover

Valentina walked inside her company and her PA, Tania ran towards her... Tania took her bag and handing the file to Valentina.

"Ms. Jackson, this is yesterday, report!" Tania said and Valentina went through the file as they both walked inside the elevator. 

"Alright... When is the meeting with the designing team?" Valentina asked as she looked into the file.

"In 30 minutes, Ms. Jackson!" Tania answered.

"And with the marketing department?" Valentina asked.

"As soon as the Designing meeting is done, we will have our meeting with a marketing department!" Tania answered and Valentina nodded her head.

"Everything is alright... But I want to have a meeting with the finance department too. To discuss about our upcoming workshops and our fashion shows... And I am going to talk about our new brands too... I want all these to be prepared at the time." Valentina said as she handed back the file to Tania. 

"Alright... I will schedule it later today! I will inform beforehand!" Tania replied and Valentina nodded her head.

Just then, the Elevator door got opened and they both walked out of the elevator and to Valentina's office. 

Tania closed the office door as Valentina slides the curtains. 

"Anything else?" Valentina asked as she sat down on her chair.

"Edward Morton..." Tania answered making Valentina look at her.

"Yes... When is his appointment?" Valentina asked.

"As soon as you are done with Designing and Marketing department meetings..." Tania answered.

"That's good... Let him come!" Valentina replied with a smirk.

"Ms. Jackson..." Tania called making Valentina turn towards her.

"Thank you!" Tania said making Valentina frown.

"For?" Valentina asked.

"Thank you for giving a chance to your mom..." Tania answered and Valentina smiled as she got up from the chair and walked towards Tania.

"Thanks to you, Tania..." Valentina said making Tania shook her head in no.

"I didn't do anything, Ms. Jackson... It's you who gave a chance to your mom... I am really happy for you! I am sure, She will be the best mother ever... Even if can't, at least, she will try her best to be..." Tania said making Valentina smile brightly. 

"No, Tania... I thought about My mom... I thought I will give her a chance... But I was not at a all ready to talk to her... Because I was scared... Scared about my past... In my past, my mother never ever looked at me as a daughter... She used to call me with names... I was about them... Even If she talked to me with names in my past just because she is scared of my father... Then, what about after his death? She didn't make any effort to talk to me well... Tell me, wouldn't I feel wrong at that time? Will not make things awkward between us? Will not I think that my mother hates me? I know, she is busy but still, she should at least try... But she didn't... What will happen if she apologizes later about all these things? After everyone goes out of hands?" Valentina said and Tania nodded her head.

"I can understand you, Ms. Jackson... But whatever th punishment you gave her was more than enough... And now, she whom love you as her daughter... You don't at all have to worry about it!" Tania answered making Valentina shrug her shoulders.

"I don't know... She seems like, she will do her best and will try her best... But not sure about anything... But... I have called her as a mom..." Valentina replied making Tania smile.

"She will not let you regret her decision, Ms. Jackson... You both gotta fight this together... How much you are scared in front of your father to call your Mother, Mom... Then, she is scared to call you as her daughter in front of her husband. You don't have any idea, what she was going through... In the first place... So, we can't get to any conclusions... But one thing is for sure that, whatever she did is for your best." Tania said making Valentina take a deep breath.

"Yeah... But still, I need time to get comfortable with her..." Valentina replied.

"Of course, it will take time, Ms. Jackson... But I am sure, you will be alright with your mother's care and support from now on..." Tania said making Valentina smile.

"Yeah... Thank you so much, Tania..." Valentina replied.

"Come on, Ms. Jackson, don't say thank you... It feels weird when the great Valentina Jackson says thank you to her poor secretary..." Tania said making Valentina chuckle.

"You are not poor... You are rich by heart!" Valentina replied making Tania smile.

"I am thinking to stay over at Mansion from now on... Get my essential things to the mansion and from now on, all the important files come to Mansion as well!" Valentina said and Tania nodded her head in yes.

"Yes, Ms. Jackson... I will be on it!" Tania replied with a smile and Valentina smiled at her.

"And... Thank you for keeping up with me..." Valentina said making Tania chuckle.

"It's fine... I like my boss to be like this forever... The ruthless woman! I am so proud to tell you that I am the PA of the great Valentina Jackso!n!" Tania replied making Valentina chuckle.

"Alright... Get me a coffee and get back to work!" Valentina said.

"Yes, Boss!" Tania replied making Valentina chuckle and shook her head at Tania.

Tania turned around and walked towards the door while Valentina walked around her desk and sat down on her chair. But Tanis stooped in mid-sentence and turner around on her heel and walked back towards Valentina.

"Ms. Jackson..." Tania called making Valentina look up at her.

"Yes, Tania?" Valentina asked.

"I forgot to tell you, there's a deal came into us from Avalanzo's." Tania answered making Valentina frowned.

"From Avalanzo's?" Valentina asked and Tania nodded her head.

"Yes, Ms. Jackson!" Tania answered.

"When?" Valentina asked.

"Yesterday evening!" Tania answered.

"Why didn't you inform me at that time?" Valentina asked.

"Well... We usually accept Avalanzo's deals... I thought I don't have to asl to you about them... And thought that, I can talk to you about this in person... But I still, didn't accept it or denied it! I told them, we need to discuss it as it's kinda a big project... And we are going to have our won workshops, Fashion shows, and the new brand release and all... So, I told them that, we will discuss about it!" Tania answered and Valentina nodded her head in yes.

"Yes... You did good!" Valentina replied and Tania nodded her head. 

"So... Are you going to accept it?" Tania asked.

"Let me see what deal it is and what benefits we are getting with it!" Valentina answered.

"Alright... I will send you the details in your mail in a few minutes." Tania replied and Valentina nodded her head.

"Mr. Xavier Avalanzo asked for your appointment too... He wanted to discuss something about the deal it seems..." Tania said.

"Well... I will let you as soon a is check about the deal!" Valentina replied and Tania nodded her head in yes.

"Alright... I will leave now... The meeting with designers will start in a does more minutes. Until then, I will bring you a coffee. So, your brain can be fresh and you can work easily!" Tania said and Valentina nodded her head.

"You are a lifesaver!" Valentina said making Tania chuckle.

"Yes... I am!" Tania replied making Valentina laugh.

"Alright... Get to work now!" Valentina said and Tania nodded her head and walked out of the office, closing the door behind her.

Valentina started working but soon, Her phone went off. She grabbed her phone still looking at her laptop screen and answered the call without looking at the caller id.

"Hello, Valentina Jackson here!" Valentina said.

"Val... It's me..." Xavier replied making Valentina stop working and she sighed.

"What else you want, Xavier?" Valentina asked.

"How are you?" Xavier asked.

"What do you want, Xavier?" Valentina asked a little sternly and She heard Xavier sighed.

"About the deal... Your PA contacted me and said that you need time to decide and give your decision." Xavier answered.

"Well... Yes, she said you true!" Valentina replied.

"Huh? But you never took time in giving me your decision on my deals?" Xavier asked.

"But, now I want to!" Valentina answered.

"Val..." Valentina cut off Xavier in mid-sentence.

"Xavier, listen... I have my things going on in my company... I am planning on a few things for my company... I am not accepting any deals right now... But... Still, I said I will try yours... Still, no guarantees..." Valentina said making Xavier sigh.

"Fine... If you say so... But please let me know about your decision quickly... It's a big project and I don't want to let it go with my negligence..." Xavier replied.

"Sure... I will let you know sooner..." Valentina said and Valentina heard Xavier taking a deep breath on the phone.

"I miss you!" Xavier said making Valentina close her eyes knowing how hurt he is!
