[Eon's POV: ]

Everyone was gathered in the central hall of the academy for the last test… and by central hall, I mean the auditorium that we used during our first gathering in the academy after the entrance test.

{ "I believe everyone is listening." }

We weren't in the grand garden, we weren't outside of the academy, we weren't in some specially created space, and we weren't even in some space where we all could stand properly.

We were all sitting here even though this was supposed to be the last test of the midterms. Something that was supposed to be completely practical in nature.

"What the hell…"

The students that had spent their entire day preparing for all kinds of practical questions and theoretical things were confused right now.

They did not know what was going on and just how the test was going to be conducted, so they were all anxious.

This whole setting was giving them strange feelings that something very unexpected might happen… but they had nothing to worry about here.

{ "Alright then. The test will be simple. We will now show you a film and you will have to write a detailed report on all the things you thought could be related to money or all the things that could impact the economy. That will be it." }

The teacher in charge was standing on the stage along with all the other teachers of the academy present with him.

He was just acting as the announcer for the event and did not really have anything to do with anything related to the exam so when he finished his strange yet absurd announcement, every student present here was stunned.

"What does that mean?"

"What did you just say, teacher?! A film?!"

"What the hell?!"

"Is that a joke? Do they mean this will be the first round of the test or something."

The academy tests until now had been something very difficult and brutal.

They were not easy and more than that, they were not something that one could just do without even any kind of preparations.

According to what the teacher had just told us, we were going to see a specially made movie that somehow had elements of economy and money in them and these elements were going to be related to the test.

We had to observe everything very sharply and notice as many details in the movie as possible and make as many right associations with the various elements as possible that they would lead to the money and the economy parts.

This was not something easy… but this was not something they had expected from a test that they had received an entire day off for.

The students were at least expecting something like a great test where they would have to look through various things, do various things, earn money to live if needed or go around the island doing things that students usually don't.

Some students were even prepared to do something like a money earning competition and had set up things and people that could help them out with them.

There were all kinds of wild speculations about this test and they were overpreparing for everything since there was strangely no information about this specific subject test…

But, if one thought carefully after listening to the teacher, they would understand why there was no information about this subject's test in the first place.

"This test is all about observation rather than something that requires us to 'do' something."

"Yup."

Rein and Tia instantly understood why I did not tell them anything about this test even though they knew I somehow knew about this test in the first place.

"This is as simple as any open Test could be."

We just had to write an essay on what we saw. And we can even write down points while the movie is going on.

It was simple… actually, this was going to be more like a lecture than anything else. And we just had to take good notes.

"I see why you force us to play that dumb game instead of urging us to study more."

"Hey. That was a great game alright. Don't call it dumb."

"Hump~! I did not get caught till the end~! Of course it was a dumb game~. Hahaha."

That was Lizzy. And she somehow did not get caught by anyone till the end.

'Talk about luck, haaa…'

She did not hide, she did not do anything extraordinary like Tia did, and she did not even use any of her skills or powers.'

It was pure dumb luck that none of them targeted her till the very end and that she was still roaming around the garden until the game was over and half of us forgot she was even playing with us.

'She somehow managed to get past everyone's attention while she just strolled around the garden.'

I know damn well she herself forgot what was going on or that she was even playing a game with us.

She was like that sometimes, forgetting what was going on and just living in the moment, playing around in nature and natural scenery with the cute creatures that found her strangely attractive.

'She was one of the most special individuals of this world but she was not super strong or super good with her abilities or anything.'

She genuinely just got lucky this time as well and it WAS ABSURD!

{ "Then, please take a note everyone. We are beginning now." }

The movie is starting now and they will start with the final process as soon as this is done.

Justy like any other exam, after the movie ends, we will be given three hours to write down as much as we wanted and as much as we remembered.

I know many of us will use as little time as they could while some like me will stick around till the end and fill in as many papers as possible with things of all kinds and all manners.

"You bastard… you knew all this already."

The people in our group knew about my observation skills and how I was good with remembering things.

Some even knew how good I was with writing so just by the nature of this test, they knew there was no way I was going to get any bad grades in this one.

If they wanted to compete with me in this one, they even needed to do extra extra well with the things or else there was no way they would even get even close to my score.

Unlike many other tests, this one did have extra points for many things and this one exam alone could be a game changer for many of the students.

'The students were confused and taken aback right now but by the middle of the movie that will contain some deep kind of meaning– they will understand this test is no different from all the other kinds of unique tests that we have had in this academy.'

In fact, as simple as it might look, this test was one of the most difficult ones and something that one might find very difficult to face if they end up sleeping at the end.

'But, as long as someone knew even the basics of economy or what power was– they were going to pass since by nature, this Movie was going to contain everything there was about economy, some more things, and some special things in addition to that.'

It was an academy tradition to make these special films and show them to the students at the end of their first midterms.

The test itself by nature was as high level as any other academy test, but the way it was conducted made it possible for the students to have a good breather.

'The tension that they build by giving a holiday is not intentional. Things had just turned out like this ever since the [Law] to conceal the contents of these special movies was made.'

No one was allowed to talk about these tests and there was only one person in this entire academy that was allowed to keep any records of these movies– the librarian.

Aside from her, there was practically no one in the academy that could even talk about these tests– so it was difficult for me to even make her tell me about these tests.

'At the end, she only gave me some hints and I only figured it all out thanks to Lucy.'

I knew there was no need to study like crazy about this test or do any preparations or have any tension about it.

It was simply going to be a fun and informative movie that will contain a lot of information and it was going to be all about one's understanding of this film, Or their memory.

-Oooooooooooong!

{ "Please do not disturb your neighbours while the film is going on!" }

It was as simple of a test as any of them in this academy could be. And, one could make the answer paper as complex as they wanted by filling all kinds of stuff in it.

The papers were only going to be checked based on the set rules of this particular test, so no one needed to worry about their answer sheets.

There was a set criteria and a set standard so it would not matter if they write a page or a book long essay of tens of thousands of words.

As long as the students understood what they were writing, along with how they were writing it, the judges would do their work and give them appropriate grades.

There will be students that get full marks just by writing half a page, and there will be students that might get a failing grade even after writing tens of pages.

That was just how this test was going to be…

'That's why playing tag was the best thing we could have done to prepare for this particular test.'

The others should have joined us instead of wasting their time with 'preparations'.
